Nice place to stay
Reviewed By thadinemOur stay at Tatenhove for a weekend was very pleasant. The rooms are very spacious and clean ( we had three rooms). It's a pity we couldn't enjoy the beautiful gardens due to rain. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By CenasStayed for some nights at this hotel. Room cleaning wasn't consistent everyday. Wifi signal fails often. Hotel decor lacks modernity. On the upside the breakfast offers plenty of choice and flavour, location is excellent, 50mt from the main street and 300mt from the beach in de koog. All in all was ok, but it needs some improvements.

Please note and take a look at our actionThe Alpha Hotel is a cozy small hotel situated on the outskirts of the charming and tourist village de Koog. The hotel is in a unique location directly on the forest, dunes and beach to post 21. In De Koog you will find several restaurants, cafes and shops. All this is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.In the nearby vicinity there are several nature reserves such as the Netherlands, the Muy and the Slufter where you can enjoy hiking and enjoy what nature has to offer.
Gezellig familiehotel met goede service
Reviewed By Dick DWij waren hier voor een weekendje Texel. Het hotel is begin 2016 door deze familie gestart. Kamers zijn allemaal nieuw ingericht en heel netjes. Erg vriendelijke ontvangst. Alles wat je wilt weten over de omgeving kan je aan ze vragen. Verder ligt er op de kamers een map met informatie over de omgeving. Kleine eetzaal, maar leuk ingericht en het ontbijt is prima verzorgd. Verse broodjes met voldoende beleg mogelijkheden. Idem voor een yoghurt ontbijt. De kamers zijn wel wat gehorig met de gang en in de douche via de luchtventilatie, maar hebben we verder niet echt last van gehad.

Geweldig verblijf aan de duinrand
Reviewed By WTVISSERHeerlijk plekje vlakbij het strand van de koog en centraal in het dorpje gelegen. Het is nieuw, modern (bijvoorbeeld gebruik van app voor deur openen en inchecken), fris ingericht, ruim en rustig. Ontbijt werd elke ochtend in leuk mandje gebracht en was dik in orde. We hebben een nachtje bijgeboekt en dit ging vriendelijk en makkelijk. Nog een klein beetje aandacht voor de laatste details (stoffig op sommige plekken, maar dan moet je wel weten waar je moet kijken) en het is vijf sterren. Ga zo door, wij komen terug!

Reviewed By Santa_BenedettaLekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Zeer ruime kamers, het lijkt bijna een appartement (microgolf, senseo, waterkoker) badhanddoeken aanwezig; proper en modern sanitair. Goede en vriendelijke service; Dichtbij de Koog; fietspad aan de overkant van de straat met wandel -en fietsmogelijkheden vlakbij. Wij hadden er een topverblijf, een aanrader.

Pretty decent BnB, clean spacious rooms, value for money
Reviewed By Nagesh RStayed in this pretty nice BnB for 3 nights in first weekend of March with family n pet. Chose the bigger pet friendly suite on 1st floor (#15). Overall a nice stay, good friendly owners, will surely choose again. Its just before the beginning of the main street of DeKoog, which is full of restaurants, bars, souvenir shops n what not. A Jumbo and Lidl around the corner. DeKoog beach is a 15 min walk. The loop bus 28 which goes around the island from ferry point stos in front of the hotel on way from ferry, while towards ferry, the bus stop is 5 min walk,in front of Grand Hotel Opduin. Plenty eating options within 200 mtrs on the main Dorpstraat. Pros: - very nice rooms, comfortable mattresses, clean and efficient bathroom, mini fridge. Cons: Breakfast pretty basic, have had better ones for that price. A microwave oven in the kitchenette will be helpful.
