Almere (Dutch pronunciation: [ɑlˈmeːrə] ( listen)) is a planned city and municipality in the province of Flevoland, Netherlands, bordering Lelystad and Zeewolde. The municipality of Almere comprises six official areas that are the districts of Almere Stad (which is further split up into Almere Stad Oost, Almere Stad West and Almere Centrum), Almere Buiten and Almere Pampus (which is currently being designed), and the boroughs of Almere Haven, Almere Hout and Almere Poort. Four of them feature official district or borough offices. I was here for dinner with2 colleagues. They have comfy seating and a comprehensive menu, all the classic cold and hot Japanese dishes, as well as some Thai/Chinese inspired ones. The service is really fast and friendly. There is a lovely dessert menu ( included in the price) that includes Creme Brulee which i loved.

very nice sushi restaurant for 22.50 euro all you can eat (MAXIMUM 30 DISHES) very good quality. everything tastes very well. really good. the only reason i dont give 5 stars is because they make quite a lot of mistakes in the orders. but it makes no big problem because you can just order extra whatever you want. drinks also reasonable prices. and very nice atmosphere. very good deal overall

This restaurant was quite a surprise in that I went in with negative expectations and came off feeling the opposite. Food was pretty good especially the sushi. Average 30€ per head plus drinks. I think it is value for money. They have a 6-round dish count where you tick off 5 dishes each round like tapas plates. You can repeat the dishes if you like anything particular, but my advice is to try different ones each time. Also start with small ones and slowly build to larger dishes. There is a catch though: any leftover food on the served platters will be charged to the customer. So make sure you stop when you have had enough and not try everything. We only completed 3 of the 6 rounds and then gave up. Struggled to finish what was on our plates.

Best menu with the most options, the new ordering system with the tablets works perfect and is very fast, the food is almost always good, there is always plenty of staff, the staff is nice, it is a nice atmosphere, there are only 2 negative things to say about this place but these are pretty big ones, that is why I only gave 3 stars.1. The drinks are way too expensive and so tiny. 2 doors down, you get twice the value for ordering drinks. Non-alcoholic AND alcoholic.2. The consistancy, the sushi is always the same, but all the other dished vary in quality, portion size, flavors and even sauces. The dish you liked the last time you were here? It is gonna be completely different today, maybe even different flavors or sauces. Hell, maybe today they will just serve it without sauce?!Because of this, I do not come her anymore, even though it is my favorite sushi place in Almere.Dear Cederic M,Thank you for your time for leaving a review. We are very pleased to hear that you have enjoyed your diner at out restaurant. About your feedback about the consistency of the portion and size of the dishes we discussed it in our group meeting. In the future we will pay more attention to it. The sauces and the flavors are everyday tested by our head chef. We find it very important that we will have the same quality in all our dishes. Hopefully we see you in the near future back in our restaurant and still be your favorite sushi place in Almere.
Yours sincerely,

Take away in Almere Buiten is very good. The babi pang gang is lovely and crisp.Restaurant in Almere Haven: food is good. Seating is too cramped and lighting is awful - no attempt to create some atmosphere and way too bright. Service seemed rushed and impersonal. Too expensive on a weekend for what you get to my opinion. €33,- for All you can eat, which means 2 dishes per round and though portions are a bit bigger, it's far less than the average of 5 per round at about 28 euros on weekend, that you get here at other places. I was invited, I'd not go there if I was choosing the restaurant.
