Almere (Dutch pronunciation: [ɑlˈmeːrə] ( listen)) is a planned city and municipality in the province of Flevoland, Netherlands, bordering Lelystad and Zeewolde. The municipality of Almere comprises six official areas that are the districts of Almere Stad (which is further split up into Almere Stad Oost, Almere Stad West and Almere Centrum), Almere Buiten and Almere Pampus (which is currently being designed), and the boroughs of Almere Haven, Almere Hout and Almere Poort. Four of them feature official district or borough offices. Furthermore, it also comprises the unofficial historic district and neighborhood Oostvaardersdiep, which has an active semi-self-governing community, and the planned district of Almere Oosterwold. Almere is part of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area (MRA).

The menu says casave fries with peanut sauce, we got sweet & sour sauce. We ordered toasts ham and cheese without tomatoes, we got without ham and with tomatoes. These simple snacks came after 30 mins.When we commented, personnel went directly into defense mode. Typically a Dutch non-customer oriented outlet.Arrogant stressful personnel, including the man behind the counter.

Here you can have a simple meal for a resonable price. Just if you fancy some simple food and no complicated servings, this is really the place to be. However if you just come by for drink, you'll be fine too!

Went for a meal Sunday with family. Ordered the expensive beef option which is for 2 persons, offering 900 grams of meat. The steak was absolutely not 900grams and we honestly thought more would be brought to the table. We made our complaint to a bloke when leaving and were rudely told that it 'was what is was' and that our comments were unimportant... Literally that was said.Been to the place several times in the past 10 years I've lived in almere. Never thought it was great value and staff wise, but Sunday was ridiculous. I'm done with the place, even if it has a great view over the Noorderplassen. View stunning - menu is a lie and staff appalling. Dear Patricia,I am sorry to hear your most recent visit to our restaurant was so disappointing. Upon reading your review I immediately recognized myself as the person you spoke to before your departure, and I humbly apologize for the way I responded to your complaint. I was a little taken aback by your criticism, which came as quite unexpected. Up until that point it was my sincere belief that your stay was satisfactory, and that both the service as well as the food were to your liking. For this reason I was surprised to hear your complaints and I subsequently fumbled my response to you, which was by all accounts below par. I had not meant to be rude to you in the slightest, or dismiss your comment in any way. I actually tried to reach out to you before because I felt terrible about the situation, but was unfortunately unable to find any means to contact you. If you read this reply, I would kindly ask you to ring us up or send us an e-mail with your contact information so that I can reach out to you in person. The smell of grease (oud vet) when we entered the restaurant should have been enough to send us away however we were hungry and sat down, mistake.Start to finish we waited for each serving and staff. The food was covered in a terrible BBQ sauce. All in all one of the worst restaurants in Almere I have ever eaten in.

Went here for after work dinner with a colleague, food was excellent! Had a tuna steak and it was one of the best I have had. Wine was good too. Note you need to order all the sides yourself; my colleague had a steak and the plate just literally had the steak on it, nothing else. Quality is good though and definitely will return!

With a bunch of friends we had dinner here. It was busy & had to waot for a while till we got served but we didn't mind as we had plenty of time to catch up. Food was good and friendly. Not amazing but definately a good place to eat

It is a upcoming chain in the Netherlands, brewing their own beer and they have a standard menu with some average things to chose from. Great for a movie night or a get together with friends. You can also book a table where you can poor your own beer, probably for a special price or something. We had some food and chose the seasoned BBQ chicken, which was quite tasty and enough for a simple main course. We also took a corn on the cob and a green salad. Both were quite big servings next to small portions of fries. The chicken also comes with their homemade sauce which I didn't taste. Reason for that is how the bottles looked, like the left overs are poured in one bottle at the end of the night... not my really my kind of flavor ;). For the rest everything was ok, the place looks good, industrial and staff is friendly. One funny thing is, the peanuts! You can eat as many as you like and throw the shells on the floor !! Hoppa!

Visited for my 3rd time and again had good service and a jolly atmosphere, even though it was Monday. I had the delicious marinated chicken which is so tender, with herby rice and spicy mole. My friend enjoyed his spare ribs. Great friendly staff who want to serve!!
