We stopped at the ibis just up the road and were directed here by the staff as the ibis restaurant was closed. We were glad to be honest..a lovely meal of pork followed by a delightful crepe all swilled down by a nice cidre.

I have been there many times for a short trip for work.It has always been really good. To summarize my score :- excellent service- good products- changing menu with always very surprising things- always a dish and entrance with fish- good place to have a quiet dinerMy suggestion : more organic products would be a real plus

We found this restaurant by chance whilst driving up to St Malo. Sunday afternoon we stopped for lunch. WOW what a find the food was truly exceptional profiteroles of Foie gras were delicious my wife had the Tuna tartare which was delicious her main of scallops was mouth watering a moment in the mouth. My choice of lamb was really to die for deserts were equally good. Washed down with a bottle of fabulous Quincy and a very reasonable bill it was for us a perfect lunch. Well worth finding this little Gem tucked away just off the Rocade. Brilliant afternoon.

Passing by in France, a friend recommended this place to me. I am usually quite fussy with food but this time I really wasn't disappointed! the food was excellent! fresh food and typically french. 1 waitress and 1 chef which makes it a very friendly restaurant, the waitress was lovely, friendly and warm and the cook came to ask us what we thought about the food. the price was reasonable too.I highly recommend it! this is my new favourite spot in Rennes.

We enjoyed dinner here on our way to the Loire Valley. The crepes were delicious and there was a good choice on the menu. My husband chose the smoked salmon, and I chose the noix St Jacques. We chose the cafe gourmand for dessert which was disappointing with dishes of ice cream, crime chantilly, a small crepe with syrup and a sponge cake - I wished I had chosen another crepe but that was my fault!

It had been several years we had not returned to La Fontaine Aux Perles and this visit was a delight. We chose the " menu du marché" and we were very pleased. The food was very well presented, amply portioned and very tasty.Service was profesional by a waiter who was very engaged. Overall highly recomended for a gastronomic experience!

Been for both lunch and dinner - the different menus don't disappoint, lunch was fresh and superbly presented, and great value for money! - sardines, then John Dory with an excellent potato puree and citrus oil, followed by "melt in the mouth" brownies. Yummy. Dinner was just divine: the best tuna tartar I have ever had, followed by beef with carrots served in three ways, and banoffee pie to finish â beautiful. The service is friendly (English spoken), atmosphere zen - bravo to their contemporary take on French cuisine. Will definitely return.

Stopped in Rennes on the way to Cherbourg and this restaurant was recommended But we were not expecting much. What a surprise! Lovely deco, great food at reasonable prices The staff were also terrific with great service and kids served first. Lovely evening , lovely food , great ambiance . Merci!

Lâaccueil est agréable, mais que le service est long entre la commande et ensuite entre les plats.Aucun plat mâa enthousiasmé. Les frites étaient molles et grasses. Le mi cuit de thon est fade, servi sans recherche. Les serveurs sont pas vraiment motivés. Bref déçu.
