When you get seated they give each person at the table a cinnamon roll which is delicious. The menu is varied. My husband had a cheeseburger with fries and I had an open faced hot beef sandwich. Both were good. The service was good and the decor has old papers and pictures on the wall. It reminds me of a small town diner. Recommend

Having eaten twice here in July, we can say it is a favorite place for breakfast! The food is delicious with various choices. Pancakes are huge! The seasoned bacon is wonderful. Service is usually quick with nice servers. The only downsideâ-the restaurant is extremely loud. Do not plan to have a business breakfast or lunch here. The sound can be overwhelming. We will continue to dine here, but not plan to carry on a conversation!

The cookies I purchased had good flavor but none were outstanding. The strawberry cake was good. The biscuits were EXCELLENT! I did not get gravy with the biscuits but they are wonderful warmed up with just butter - great flavor! My main criticism is that service was extremely slow. There were people waiting ahead of me and the nice gentleman got my order ready first because I had to leave. I think there was someone in the back, but no one ever came out front to help. I hate to criticize because he may have been working alone and this was at noon. He was soooo nice and wanting to please customers. Apparently, the store is selling out of danish, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy and gooey butter cake first thing in the morning; so, the case was fairly empty except brownies and cookies. The shop has tables and is very inviting - decor is really homey but classy.
