Brought my two boys here when school was cancelled for the day. $32.99 per child for a Max pass. It is winter so no outdoor activities were open. The bumper car area is tiny, they enjoyed the foam pit and arcade the most. Only did...MoreBe sure to sign up for our enewsletter. We are always posting special offers. Also, the great thing about the Winter Max Pak you purchased is when the outside attractions are closed you get a bonus $10 game room card. We appreciate your visit.

The volunteer staff is friendly but you never really know who is going to be there when you go. Some interesting structures to look at. A smattering of animals to observe. Good to get a general idea of what life was like for settlers back in the mid-1800s. Nothing too ground-breaking or thrilling but a decent way to kill an hour or so and maybe learn a little something. Okay for a one time visit.

Longview Lake and Beach

Reviewed By Fun4Me2Travel - Nebraska

Found this by accident when researching things in the area to do just for an overnight stay. Our family has enjoyed many drive through Christmas displays over the years, so we were pretty excited to find this one. We arrived a bit after the opening time that night and traffic was already backed up on the 4 lane road coming in. Having a line for an attraction like this is normal of course so we thought no problem. After sitting in an ever slow moving line with an occasional elf here and there for over 2.5 HOURS we finally reach the actual lights!!!! Ridiculous!!! At the end of this dreadful line there is a decent sized campground filled with light displays and such, but I can not tell you it is worth the wait. Actual time spent in the actual light display, maybe 10-15 minutes. Multiple people turned around and left before they even made it there. Can't say I blame them. This event is free. At the end you need to drive through a donation lane in which people come to your window for donations and give you some candy. If they could just spread out the displays and get that line moving even at a snails pace it would be so much better. Hope they are able to improve the experience and keep this going for those who enjoy it in the area.

What a nice old building in the center of the town right across from the train station. Unfortunate museum is only open Thursday Friday and Saturdays. It looks like it could be a nice little piece of historical informationThank you for the review! We wish we were open more hours too, hopefully when we build our volunteer base up we can do that.
