We called into this shop in the hope we could buy something hot to eat after a long day geocaching. It was almost 3 pm when we arrived to find was nothing left in the pie oven, the staff member told us that it had been a very busy day and the shop was due to close at 3 pm. But she was only too happy to heat up some pies for us if that was what we wanted. She took our order and while the pies were heating, she bagged our choice of pastries and took payment for our order, within a few minutes the pies were ready and we were on our way. We would recommend this shop as we could not fault the service of the staff whom although almost closing time went out of their way to please hungry customers, staff were great and the pies and cakes were delicious.

Walking past Angelo's I could see the alluring pies through the window. They looked big and flaky. I wasn't disappointed, the plain beef had a flaky top and short base. The meat filling was firm and a larger than normal serving filling all the way to the underside of the flake. It was possible to eat on it's own but due to the size I would recommend a plate and cutlery to ensure you get a good ratio of pastry to filling.

From the moment we walked in to this cute little cafe we felt so welcomed. Janine who I believe is the owner was so very welcoming and could see we were travelers from out of the country from our accents of course. She then offered us a table and told us to come back to the counter once we were ready to order, take our time and enjoy our stay. When I went to order our breakfast the conversation was like being part of the family. She asked questions about our day, travels and several about my daughter. Our meal was lovely, hot, and followed with great service. As we were leaving she was so kind and sent my daughter off with a meat pie for her to enjoy later. What a great welcome to the area.

Friendly staff. Delicious caramel and almond slice with one of the most amazing coffees. Extra froth - without even asking asked for extra hot and it was! Lovely smaller cups. This place was perfect. Sat outside and watched the world go by amongst the plants - a restful stop on our holiday trip. Will definitely be back when in Bacchus Marsh and will also be recommending this lovely little establishment to friends and family.

It was my first time there, but everyone else knew each other and seemed to be regulars. They did not even have to order. I was impressed with the range of items and the special attention paid to providing vegetarian and gluten free options. I just had a Devonshire Tea and my scone was large and came with fresh cream and jam. It was delicious. There are a number of separate spaces: on street, outside in garden at rear, inside at front, and inside at rear, so it is possible to get some privacy if you want.
