Stopped at lunch while passing through. Stopped on the basis of the TA reviews. 2 of us had brekkies, 1 a pie, and 1 lunch. All very nice, country home style cooking, very fair pricing, and the exceptionally welcoming staff and friendliness sets it apart. The ambience of country cottage is nice, and on fair days there is an outdoor area in the rear. A very pleasant venue.

My weekday lunch was memorable. Being very hungry I set aside the lunchtime specials menu, which had smaller portion sizes and selected the Guinness Pie and Mashed Potato. It was of a great size and very tasty and went well with the Great Northern beer I had chosen. A great value meal. I should point out that it does fill up and I have been told that bookings are essential on the weekend and in the evenings.

We have seen reviews of Grant Pizza Plaza and could not believe how good they were.... well, don't doubt - it is even better!!!!
They are a big team that is making pizzas flat out for very good reason.
The experienced customer orders well ahead online to avoid the delays making such high quality. Delicious!!

The cafe decorations is so cute. I love how they transform the house into little cafe. The front garden area is perfect place to enjoy brunch with your love ones.
The food was average. There weren't nothing special on the dishes and the flavor was a little bit bland but the presentation was pretty.
Sadly, on the last visit I found a hair on one of my dishes

Great fish and chips.
Encountered a few problems lately.
First incident was forgetting to give us our grilled flake. Got home didnt have it, called, went back to get it. Meanwhile other chips and etc got cold. Not offered any type of free anything for our trouble.. after spending 40 odd bucks there.
The next time we went...they forgot to put in our chips. My partner checked and they forgot to put them in the fryers. He has to wait another 10mins while our other food was getting cold. Again no real compensation for our time.
Is the last time we will spend 40 bucks in here a pop when we have been frustrated twice.
It's the best fish n chip shop in town.. just shattered this happened to us..

Although I did not notice anything that was classified or marked vegan on the menu, when I asked the staff could they possibly put together a vegan "Big Breakfast" the staff confirmed what I could and couldn't have (no dairy and no egg) and happily put together a plate of sides and did not charge me any extra, but in fact reduced the price. My generous plate of grilled/pan fried mushrooms, tomato, peppers, onion, spinach, avocado and toast with margarine was delicious. Also found the staff friendly and prompt and very attentive. Thanks everyone! :o)
