The population in 2011 was 13,418, in an area of 10.18 km². Since December 2004, the Costa de Caparica has been designated as city within the urban hierarchy of Portugal.

If there are some things that annoy me in a restaurant, those are wrong information and unprofessional service. In this particular case, both happened simultaneously. The opening hours, supposedly, are 12:30 till 23:00. However, upon arrival at 19:10 the door was closed (although the sign on the door said âopenâ). When asking one of the staff, the answer, without even opening the door, was: we will open in a while. Well, as âwhileâ can range from 5 minutes until whatever number of minutes, we of course left. Not exactly the best of publicity for a place that opened recently and only has a few reviews.

Berlineta is conveniently located on the promenade - right where you walk when you leave the beach from a surf session. I love the quick shot of carbs, when I get off the water. Unfortunately, my favorite variation - without cream is often sold out by the afternoon.

Passing by everyday...and you don't realize what those two girls can make...The cakes are awesome...the decor simple and retro makes you feel at home.Came for cake two days in a row... everyday they have fresh stuff...Apparently also great brunch...maybe my next try.Please come inside...even if just for coffee and cake like me.Obrigada.
