Named Best BBQ in Florida! - Located in a bungalow off of 7th Ave in historic Ybor City, Al's Finger Licking Good Bar-B-Que is dedicated to serving you the most delicious barbecue food while demonstrating true Southern hospitality.
There is a reason this place is rated so highly. It is delicious. Portions are HUGE! I had the Turkey and pork and both were delicious. My husband had the ribs and he loved them. He said the potato salad is now his all time favorite potato salad. The greens are spicy and also delicious. I dont think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. It's really quick service. They pull the meat out and chop it up as you order. Big Al was there and he is a super great guy to talk to. All the guys that were there were (4-27). It was a great time. We will definitely be back each and every single time we are in Tampa.

We came in here while visiting friends who live in Tampa and we were absolutely amazed at what they have done to this old building while keeping lots of the old features like power boxes a d original brickwork. We visited on Wednesday night and the place was very busy with lots of food outlets and places to get a drink. Will certainly be back.

Located one block west of historic Bayshore Blvd nestled under several grand oak trees. A 1927 bungalow converted into a restaurant. Serving South Tampa since 1978. Family owned and operated.
We were visiting in Tampa this past weekend (been going there a lot because we are moving there) and we ran across this place on Google. We decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed! We were greeted by a man who was really nice and made us feel right at home. We were quickly seated and then our waitress came right over and took our orders. She was equally as sweet and really patient with us as we decided what we wanted. I ordered the sangria which was really good with a nice cinnamon taste and the food came out super fast! My husband and I both ordered ribs but he ordered the larger portion. Both were the perfect size. The ribs were tender and well seasoned and the sweet barbecue sauce was the perfect pairing. Green beans has great flavor and the parsley potatoes were also really good but I couldnât finish them because Iâm watching my carb intake. We finished the meal with key lime pie (AMAZING) and it was really tart like I like it! The waitress also brought us out a piece of the apple cake (she heard us having a hard time deciding) and it was even better It reminded us of a great carrot cake. Overall, outstanding experience. We canât wait to go back!Thank you so much for the great review. We hope you enjoy living in Tampa.
