horrible experience. Told the waiter I was in a hurry, placed an order for a glass of wine and waited 15 minutes to get just that. I was given an iPad and told him I wanted Sashimi then he left me there with my iPad order for an extended time (again I was in a hurry) I got my warm rice with my soup and my salad then the rice was cold when I got my main course meal. I ordered Calamari Tempura roll which was disgusting and a Las Vegas roll which was slightly better. The rolls were so large that it was difficult to put one piece into my mouth and again they give you chop sticks, not a knife and fork to cut these massive pieces of sushi. The Sashimi was tasteless and the wasabi was put into dishes days before and was hard as a rock. The only saving factor was that it wasn't expensive. I would never waste my time or money here again

Hi, we are already planning our next trip to this great place.Previous reviews mention how cozy it is - yes - and how terrific the food is as well -yes!Six of us went for lunch today for our regular lunch-dinner group. Three of us shared the already mentioned favourite appetizers: crispy calamari, sushi tacos and fried brussel sprouts. Very good and adequate amounts to leave us satisfied along with a side of kimchi. Others were all happily clearing their plates - Savoury Fig Salad, Vege lovers Bibambap, and the Ginger Scallion Noodle. Service was attentive, atmosphere nice, and food fantastic.

The food is clean,tasty and in large portions.The meat especially the ribs are good quality and if you like sides, they have lots.The buffet gives you lots of options and the staff are quit efficient.There might be a short wait when going for weekend dinners,cause it's packed with people.The washrooms are also clean and modern.The only downside is they do not accept Amex credit cards.

One of our favourite restaurants these last 4 years. Anything you order is always yummy great spice flavours. Tonight I had chicken and shrimp pad thai....soo good. Big serving. Hubby had spicy beef in coconut milk with a side of jasmine rice. He enjoyed his meal also and took some home. We have brought family and friends here. We have had the spring rolls and Tom Yum soup and mango salad and banana fritters all very yummy! We have ordered many different entrees as well chicken cadhew nuts stir fry and spicy beef in coconut milk.

Thai Tamarind is located out in the country across from the Ancaster Fair Grounds. It is a rather unassuming place both inside and out, and if someone didn't send you there you would probably just drive by. I met my friend for lunch here, as we often do. She has some dietary restrictions and staff here are always happy to accommodate her. I always go with the Pad Thai and have never been disappointed, it comes nicely presented, portion size is generous and the value is most certainly there. Trust me, it is worth the drive to visit this place.

We were hosted by our Hamilton friend to lunch and we were not disappointed. In fact, very satisfied indeed.There was a very good range of Chinese and Western dishes and really good steaks. It all amounted to several return visits to the buffet bars and as much seafood, steaks, ribs, salads, etc, etc. that could be eaten in one sitting.I can't understand the poor reviews I've seen. For me and my friends it was excellent. There was no room in my British stomach for all the desserts on offer, but I still put on plenty of weight on this vacation.Wish we had something similar in England. For me, The Mandarin is a big hit.

La Spaghett is a cozy little restaurant on Hamilton mountain. The Italian dishes are exceptional. Following an appetizer of delicious garlic bread I had Shrimp Sienna, a pasta entree with leeks, shrimp and creamy feta cheese. Itâs the best Italian food I have ever eaten. Portions are substantial.

Came here with friends for dinner yesterday and had a great time. Very busy place, so reservations are a good idea. There were six of us and we shared many apps and mains. Everything was excellent. Service was great, quick and friendly. Nice upscale place, interesting decor. We will definitely return.
