Great place to stay
Reviewed By thieta564012Very good location, everything is nearby. Helpful staffs, breakfast selection is very good and tasty. Only downside is that hotel room is very small. There is restaurant inside of the hotel, they serve very tasty and pictures presentation food.

Good value for money
Reviewed By liverpool1023Despite the middling reviews, I thought this hotel offered very good value for money. The room was spacious with a large TV, kettle and coffee, phone etc. The ancient beds proved to be comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Overall sleep quality was good. The downsides were that the fixtures and fittings are tired (although everything is clean and tidy) and the breakfast is a bit basic. Overall you can’t quibble over the price.

Spectacular location with beautiful accommodation and amazing sunsets!
Reviewed By nickburgerWe visited HavsVidden for a company conference in May 2022. We took over a large part of the complex and it is an amazing place. Beautiful sunsets and spectacular scenery, especially the red granite roads set against the green forest and the blue sky. The villas were great, with lots of space, terraces and saunas / hot tubs. A few of the villas even had infinity pools on the terrace! Staff were super helpful and polite with constant effort to make us feel welcome. All in all this is an inspiring and beautiful place. It is calm and natural and the environment gives off a vibe that is almost spiritual. We talk about wanting to make the world a better experience, but in this case it was the world making a better experience for us. Thank you HavsVidden, I feel very privileged to have been able to visit you. Kiitos!

Good hotel, even though slightly past its best-before-date

It was a real treat to be able to sit outdoors on the balcony with a post-dinner glass of win, as the weather was exceptionally pleasant for the season. The room was generally fully adequate, but three (!) of the lamps in the room were not functioning. Breakfast was excellent, with smoked salmon as a bit of an extra, but the bread toast was next to useless. Kudos for the gin bar which was stocked with a broad assortment of gins and tonic waters, also well staffed. So, our overall impression was relatively positive, but we found attention to detail somewhat lacking. More fundamentally, the property seems to have been built (in the 70s?) with an overoptimistic idea of grand international hotel. leaving the place slightly faded today and with several redundant-looking spaces. Also, a bit overpriced in relation to what you get.

An arts & crafts country lodge in the beautiful Alandian archipelago. The lodge is situated on a peninsula with the Alandian sea on both sides. The farm-house is extended and restored by Hans himself, who is a former carpenter. We have been eager to keep the farmʼs Alandian atmosphere and together with the impact of Jackieʼs English heritage it has become a pleasant cross-over between the local culture and some British influences.

They are obviously good at what they do and their care for the guests is reflected in the atmosphere and in every little detail around. The food was fantastic so it is an accommodation that we are happy to return to and recommend to everyone. It is a great place to stay and enjoy beautiful scenery, warm hospitality and a first class restaurant.

A topmost experience
Reviewed By PasaatituuliOur second stay in this hotel and restaurant, this time four nights. Rooms are spacious and clean with exemplary bathrooms. No room service during these days but it didn't bother us at all. Actually we expecting it to be in this way. Last year we were the only travellers but this time we became accompanied by several others ... even from abroad. Breakfast was delicious and comprehensive. Nothing to complain about. With good food one gets in good humour and receives everything needed for long birding tours on various bird watching platforms and -tower built on island during last year. We ate our anniversary dinner at the restaurant of this hotel and enjoyed about delicious food: goat cheese sallad as a starter, fried perch with new potatoes and other vegetables with white gravy. For the dessert we chose fried Camembert with vanilla ice cream. All three courses were delight for eyes and for taste buts. Warmly recommend.
