Great place for a short stay
Reviewed By Hanna HA quaint and beautiful old guesthouse. The family room was spacious enough to accommodate our family of five and the balcony overlooking the famous Kerimäki Church was a nice bonus. Shared bathroom was modest but tidy and the shared kitchen looked well-equipped (our stay was so short there was no need for it). The front and the backyard were great for kids and there was a beach down the street. Only minus was the heat - there was air conditioning in the hallway but not in the room.

We are also very happy to organise your special events - from planning to the very last detail! Yömyssy Apartments is located conveniently in the countryside - by highway 71, only 15 km from Savonlinna and 5 km from Kerimäki. The bus stop is only a few hundred meters away from Yömyssy. It takes 15 minutes to drive to the Olavinlinna Castle and only 5 minutes to see the Kerimäki Wooden Church.
Spacious rooms
Reviewed By JellonaThe apartments are located in an old school, but at least our apartment was quite homey. The rooms were clean and spacious, ideal for a family. Parking was free and the garden was safe for kids to run around. In summer there are redcurrants to pick in the garden... on the other hand, there was nothing to see within walking distance (but everybody arrives here by car so maybe not an issue...). Breakfast was average at best. There was no elevator. There was no shower in the apartment, just a toilet - there was a shared shower in the basement. I can't say anything about the staff as we didn't see it during our one night stay...

A little more than average
Reviewed By 187duncOK, this is going to be a bit of an odd review. Mainly due to the fact that I actually quite like the hotel. I've given it an average rating due to the size of my room and the very small bathroom i had to share. Apart from that, the host was really friendly, a real delight. I also liked how in the common area you had tea and coffee making facilities with some homemade treats. So in short, it's a super cute place and it's perfect if you're a solo traveller.

Cottage relax
Reviewed By johncorkiNice cottage with sauna. Location near golf center. A bit away from Savonlinna center but not too fat away. At least two grilling sites for customer use. Also small beach to use. Restaurant food was great. Not overpriced. Cottages are close to each other but not too close. Relaxing time guaranteed.

Reviewed By Heikki sA lovely, well kept establishment, with extremely friendly staff (including the dog!). The small cabins have Finnish names of the Snow White's seven dwarfs - funny. Only one minor disappointment: you have to walk a couple of hundred meters to reach the lake Puruvesi (clean waters!) - I guess we had imagined you'd only need to open the door of the cabin... Definitely a good choice, reasonably priced, a very decent breakfast.

Family dinner summer starter
Reviewed By TatjaaanaFamily summer dinner out on graduate time was pleasant enough. Perfect summer evening: warm and calm. Well dressed people hanging out smoking and drinking celebrating privately a young lady high school graduation. We were there a bit outsiders but everything worked out smooth. The food was very average. Pike burger could have been more tasty. Whole meat burger and thin beef were nice. Though the fries could have been made on the house. Potatoes were probably from the freezer. Bread was good and mushroom soup was from local mushrooms.
