NEW HOTEL BY THE CITY BAY Hotel Aittaranta is brand new, modern hotel in Uusikaupunki. This new hotel is located by the City bay, in one of best locations of the town. Hotel is near of Uusikaupunki downtown, market place and one of city’s best restaurants and shops. Hotel is two-storied and there are 16+2 hotel rooms. Hotel has been built next to old salt granary’s and these new buildings has been build respecting old style. From every room open beautiful view over the city bay, over the town and market place. At new building is 16 twin rooms and two of them has own sauna. In every room is own entry and down stair rooms is own terrace faced to city bay. Upstairs rooms have own little French balcony.

So if considering where to stay nearby uusikaupunki. Thrust me worth of money this one. ” small” bonus that by the town and walking distance to see everything in uusikaupunki. Plenty of parking places so easy to come and go. And this is not big chain hotel. So they make your stay comfortable.

Reviewed By Dream15882086719Majottauduin Kirkkokadun Amanda -asunnossa viikonlopun ajan. Varaus kävi kätevästi soittamalla. Paikka oli helppo löytää ja se oli viiden minuutin kävelymatkan päässä bussiasemalta. Asunnossa oli kuisti, keittiö, kylpyhuone sekä isompi tila (olohuone ja makuuhuone samassa). Sieltä löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Aamupalan tilasin yhdelle aamulle, mutta sitä riitti kyllä kahdelle päivälle. Paikka oli kauniisti sisustettu, siisti ja tunnelmallinen. Nukuin todella hyvin ja majoittautuminen vanhassa puutalossa oli jo itsessään hieno kokemus.

Reviewed By lindamariaholmstromIt was basically the only hotel in Uusikaupunki that was near the harbour (we had booked a seal safari for the next day), so this is why we chose this hotel. The staff was friendly and they gave us good instructions. For example after the reception is closed you can only access the hotell via a door with you room key and the elevator stops working after reception is closed. The room was big and clean (including the bathroom). There was a small television (I would have liked a bigger one with better picture quality) and a minibar with a pricelist. We stayed on the 4th floor (there is in total 4 floors). Breakfast was on the second floor, same as the reception, bowling room and entrance of to the hotel. The breakfast was of small scale (one or two bread alternatives with ham, cheese and vegetables like tomato, cucumber and letuce. Youghurt, cereal, sausage, scrambled eggs boiled eggs, meatballs and porridge. There was coffee and juices, and some fruit and cake/muffin. There was glutenfree bread and glutenfree cereal.). The hotel was okay, but we got rudely awakened at night by hotel guests at 4am (they shoutet and screamed and slammed the doors, and they were drunk). So if you want a good sleep, take with you some airplugs so damp the noice (you can also easily hear normal chattering from other rooms through the air pipes). What suprised me (and stiked me as weird) was that the hotel's name is Aquarius, but the decor in the breakfast area was of middle age (swords on the walls..and so on..confusing).

Reviewed By suomituristi2015This is more like a restaurant with rooms and not vice-versa (as most hotels). Reception is in the restaurant (look for any waiter). Service is friendly. Rooms are spacious and have a view to a somewhat busy street, but the noise level is low during the night. As there is no a/c and there is lots of sunshine to my room, it was almost impossible for me to get decent sleep. Very hot and humid! There is no buffet breakfast but a breakfast tray instead. Additionally: the in-house restaurant is very good! Overall: a nice place - but not on the hottest summer days.

In the middle of a forest...
Reviewed By TRAVELLINGMF... you will find sweet cottages in a beautiful surrounding. They are big enough to host 4 or more people. Unfortunately only single or bunk beds. They also have an electric stove. Ours didn't work, but we had a replacement. You also won't find a sink in the cottage. The dishes can be cleaned in the big red building. Which also has showers and toilets. All in all very clean! The lady at the Kioski doesn't speak too much english, but we all managed that easily :)

Hotel Lännentie was compelitely renovated in years 2010 and 2013. Our fresh 24 single, double and triple rooms have new beds, modern WC´s and bathrooms, flat screen TV´s with international program selection and FREE Wi-fi. The room charge also includes an rich Scandinavian breakfast buffet, free parking and customer sauna with massaging jumbo whirlpool on given days. Restaurant Lännentie experienced an facelift at 2010. The cafe, the restaurant and the nightclub catch favour of the new and old customers of all ages. Our praised kitchen with a diverse and also seasonal menu is open on workdays from 12:00-20:00, saturdays from 12:00-20:00, sundays closed. The lunch buffet is open from Mondays to Friday from 11:00-14:00. Breakfast is served 06:30-09:30 on workdays. Friendly staff is glad to assist you during your stay at hotel Lännentie. Modern meeting rooms have the latest AV technology. We ha a high-end sauna facilities and jumbo whirlpool for private events. Pool & billiards, darts, party games, music, customer laptops, news papers, Finnish tote music & stand-up gigs on weekends of Finnish top artists.

Reviewed By euroopahJust as advertaised, did not feel dissapponted of anything, that is the most important for us since we stay in any hotel no matter how may stars or if any. As advertaised animals were allowed but there was a little fee for that. Rooms were clean and quiet. The service was excellent, we appreciate honesty always, they had a problem with a breakfast serving but they tried to fix it with bringing breakfast to our room the night before A+ for effort!!! Always better than just to say sorry! This hotel is within walking distance from center but here is also a restaurant and nightclub if you dont want to go anywere else. Restaurant and bar did not cause any noise to the room, this could be different when staying in rooms closer to entre doors ?? I would recommend this hotel! Just remember to ask a room with a fan or air condition. If you like to eat your own food then atleast in our room the fridge was not cold enough for foods needing less than +15 ?
