Reviewed By pcaster01The caretakers were incredibly helpful showing us around, telling us about the town and what it had to offer different things to see We had a huge double concrete slab, which backed onto the dunes, small dividing native trees between sites, would have to be close to one of the better parks we've visited

A cosy relaxing space to unwind in and a great location from which to explore the Barossa. Enjoying a mother and daughters weekend, the Loft had everything we needed for relaxing in and chilling out. From bathrobes and candles to wine, cheese and stocks of firewood we enjoyed a very special retreat. We will be back!

Situated adjacent the cellar door, the Kaesler Cottage is comprised of three separate cottage rooms each with separate entrance, spa ensuite and facilities to prepare your own provided continental breakfast. The (2) Cottage Rooms are single room with a queen bed and small sitting area, while the Cottage Suite has it's own separate lounge room. Our accommodation is ideal for couples looking for a centrally located base to explore the wine region, or for groups of up to three couples looking for a wine country getaway.

Cottage #3 exceeded our expectations with its delightful Hamptons feel, comfy bed and bathroom equiped with a spa. The place was spotless and much more independent than we imagined, we had a beautiful balcony that was not shared as each has their own. Has everything you need including a coffee machine, cooking basics, etc. we loved the view from the bedroom and lounge room overlooking the bay and beautiful trees. Very quiet and serene but not too isolated which is always a bonus. We ended up extending our stay as we loved it so much. Thank you both for hosting us. Try to get to KI tru (thai food) on a Thursday night, definitely worth a visit, thanks for the recommendation.

Neagles Retreat has 4 Modern Villas each of them have 2 bedrooms with king sized beds (we are able to spilt them into large single beds), 2 en-suite bathrooms, full kitchen facilities including a oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher, saucepans, casserole dish, microwave/grill open plan living and dining area. There is an outdoor deck that leads off the main living area with outdoor furniture and Weber-Q. Enjoy the serenity of the native landscape and magnificent views from each villa.

Reviewed By kimlBrisbaneWhilst the villa is new there were no extra touches for the price paid.We stayed 2 nights and were provided with 1 sample of shampoo, conditioner and body wash for 3 adults .In fact the 2nd room had no products at all .Breakfast provision was single packet weetbix with small UHT milks .

The surroundings and views are beautifully just as a good as in the pictures on the website. Staff are fantastic and very accommodating nothing too much troubles.

4 Fully self contained cottages situated amongst 39 acres of natural bushland and landscaped gardens. Each has 3 bedrooms with bedding configuration being 2 Queen beds and 2 single beds. The singles can be made up to a 3rd queen bed on request. The cottages are modern and tastefully decorated. Large kitchen/dining area. 2 TV's one being in the main bedroom. BBQ and outdoor furniture at each cottage. The riverfront is approx. 400m from the cottages with easy access via road or walking trails. Large bonfire area with seats for the winter months and 2 playgrounds for the kids.

Reviewed By EssbeebeeWe were very fortunate that this place was available for the busy Australia Day weekend. The cabins are surprisingly large and well spaced apart. Although starting to show their age, they are well appointed, scrupulously clean and well maintained. The spotless paths around the cottage, great undercover parking for 2 cars (plus plenty of other space for boat etc.) are excellent. Nice bushland setting with pleasant views, but a fair way from the river itself. Probably better suited to families, but also quite reasonable for a couple like us. Quite well situated with easy access to both Renmark & Berri. Having to empty bins and clean up might help save costs, but is probably a bit "yesterday". Nonetheless, pretty good and we'd go back.

Reviewed By peterlove01Stayed here for 3 nights to travel around the top half of the Yorke Peninsula! Wallaroo is a great little town, very friendly people and Mac’s did not disappoint! We had a waterfront spa cabin. The attention to detail was terrific! Beautifully appointed cabins, well decorated and such a great spot! The gardens are beautiful and it was great to sit on the deck and watch the sunset! Lovely hosts - just a lovely few days!

Our villas are in a secure gated compound in an elevated position overlooking the bay and clifftop reserve a short walk to the town centre, playground and jetties. They are recently completed and designed with energy efficiency in mind so are comfortable in all seasons. Each villa is self contained with full kitchens, laundries and lockup garages with direct access to the living areas.
