We offer accommodation from double suite to spacious 7 bedroom luxury villas. Hotel Aateli is located at the heart of the Vuokatti slopes, serving both holiday-goers, groups and business visitors. Hotel Aateli features 15 premium level rooms, of which 3 are suites with saunas. Our guests have a chance to enjoy the Northern Lights and the impressive landscape of lakes and hills in the Aurora tower of the hotel. Visitors can also taste local delicacies in the hotel's restaurant and after an active day relax in the pleasant atmosphere of the hotel's Zen Spa. The Vuokatti region is surrounded by beautiful lakes and forests, which is particularly known as a year around full four seasons’ popular vacation destination. Vuokatti offers a wide variety of different outdoor and indoor activities for all age groups.
Small, cosy hotel
Reviewed By kvmatkustaaWe stayed here during off-season. The hotel and the room in itself were great, although it would have probably been even nicer during winter. The staff were very pleasant but it was obvious that they were understaffed and that created some unfortunate situations. The food in the restaurant was tasty but they definitely would have needed more backup. We waited for our desserts for 50 mins and then had to cancel them in order to make it to our spa reservation. Luckily the breakfast was diverse and quiet. Zen spa was also a bit of a disappointment. Otherwise it would have been a great experience, but the hotel had forgotten to heat the sauna for our shift. So we weren't able to enjoy it properly. For this they offered us a free visit to the spa for the next time, but unfortunately we probably won't be staying there again. Hopefully in the future the management reserves more staff also during off-season.

Traumhafte Aussicht
Reviewed By St_und_JoTraumhafte, absolut ruhige Lage. Gut ausgestattetes "Chalet" mit unendlichem Ausblick in die Natur. Kleine Sauna zudem mit kleinen Fenster zum Zimmer und somit ebenso Ausblick! Das Frühstück wird in einem Korb in die Unterkunft gebracht. Bett- und Frottéwäsche muss separat gebucht werden. Leider keine Lüftungsmöglichkeit über ein Fenster.

Small with all you need & great service!
Reviewed By pracsolOur little room on the ground floor had all we needed with the extra great help of the lovely lady running the place. Our communication was limited as we do not speak Finnish but she was so very helpful. There is a small kitchenette with a coffee machine & a very small but clean bathroom. The bonus verandah at the front is great ?

Reviewed By MInna_HyyrynenKevät-talvella vuodenaika ei ollut parhain, mut silti miljöö oli viehättävä ulkoa ja sisältä. Ruokakin oikein maistuvaa. Oluen ystäville paljon vaihtoehtoja. Vähän syrjässä, tänne ei eksy vahingossa. Kanattaa käydä jos sopivasti osuu reitille.

Reviewed By toml401Stället är riktigt bra. Vi var 5st och inga problem med utrymme. Saker som drog ner på betyg, lampor söndriga. Köksskåp i dåligt skick. Mera ved i förådet kunde vara bra. Fint att nyckel fanns på ställe när vi kom

Good value for money
Reviewed By elmaveeGood place unless you want luxury. Very quiet at night. Close to everything there is to see in Kuhmo. There is a kitchen for guests use and the nearest supermarket is only 180m away. Some rooms have refigerators. The host was very helpful when we asked for something.
