Reviewed By pr0udsThe bathroom for female dormitary was super super dirty. The floor was wet all the time and i have to wait for long time for the que to take a shower. Very dirty bathroom , smelly and the bunk bed was very small. This is so inconvenience. The hotel is far from everyrhing , nothing around there you have to take a walk for more than 10 mins from the taichung main station as well as for the convenience store , bus stop. This place at night was quits dangerous for girls. I will not recommend this hotel due to the price is so unreasonable.

Reviewed By SforSingaporeWe booked a quad family room as we have 2 adults and 2 children. We have a good and comfortable stay in Kiwi Express Hotel Taichung Branch 1. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location. Less than 5 mins walk from Taichung main station and bus station. Many eateries nearby. Room is big, new and very clean. It has windows. There are hot and cold water dispenser beside the lift at every floor. Beds are comfortable and very quiet to sleep at night. No noisy neighbours. Strong wif. Great breakfast (mainly chinese dishes - buffet style). Considered quite a wide spread as the room rate is quite low. We find them delicious. Friendly and helpful receptionists. They allow us to leave our 2 big luggage with them for one night after checking out so I could just carry a small overnight bag to Cingjing. With the price we pay, we should not expect much. But end up I find it excellent! It really excceeds our expectation. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By GrandTour672891The lobby is beautiful and spacious. There is a lounge area that you can take a nap with free coffee and toast. Unique 75-hotel is a cozy place that you can throw your fatigue away in Taichung. Near downtown as well.

Reviewed By staceyt106We booked a king room and after they contacted us using Google translate saying that we need to check out at noon and we could check back in at 6pm. Apparently they let other people rent the room by the hour. We have a 2 year old and they never said we would have to check in and out until after we paid 3,600+ nt for the room. Plus, with Covid I don't want people to have just been in my room sleeping in the bed and everything else.... When I complained they tried to move us to a cheaper room with no refund or compensation for it being the business double which is a big step down from the king with parking underneath. They don't speak English at all and it was really frustrating. I saw another review saying they did the same thing to them on Google, but apparently they didn't think about the price difference.

Reviewed By David_Chan_SGWas informed can only check in after 6pm but after some negotiation with the staff I managed to get a room at 4pm. Room is very spacious for Taiwan motel standard but was little disappointed for not so “Forbidden City” style room deco. For non driver the walking distance from the front counter to the room is quite far. Cleanliness is acceptable. In the morning you can choose between Mac Donald’s or KFC breakfast in the room.

Great Motel but check in after 10pm
Reviewed By AlbertSeahOverall this hotel is great. walking distance to 7-11 and eatery spots. but need to walk to bus stop to take no. 54 bus to Wuri Train Station if you planning to other area. Room is spacious, very comfortable and staffs are very friendly. but bare im mind that their check in time will be 10pm. then room is including free breakfast. Just simply call number 9 to reception for reservation. delivery to your room, choose delivery time 7am OR 9am.
