The hotel itself is lovely. Staff could have been more friendly upon arrival and departure. Pretty low service- a small thing but after being given my room key there was no explanation about where the list was, which level and direction my room was. Then my key didn’t work so I called the front desk and rather than coming to me (there was3 of them sitting there) I had to head back down and let a different key. The room itself was lovely and great value. Just needed a bath robes as would be expected in a spa suite- and was listed on the website.

A very comfortable stay with a great restaurant and very helpful staff.

I stayed for two nights at this hotel and was very satisfied with it. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and everything was spotlessly clean. I ate at the Bistro Sixty5 restaurant both evenings. The food was delicious and the waitress was delightful. The location is central to most facilities and I would certainly be very happy to stay there again.

Quest on Franklin is in a good location, practically walking distance to all of Adelaides central attractions. Only a short walk to the Central Markets that offers a huge range of options for food or fresh produce. The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. Our suite had 2 balcony spaces offering 180 degree views of Adelaide. The room itself is equipped with a washing machine dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave and small cooktop. Reception staff are welcoming and pleasant. The apartments themselves do not offer on site parking, however parking can be organised across the road for additional cost. There is also a bay directly out the front for checking in and loading/unloading your luggage. Overall I would recommend to anyone considering the convenience of serviced apartment accomodation and would return.

Comfortable, great location

Reviewed By Tiny_Chablis

Very nice hotel, comfortable and modern. We spent 6 nights and while the room was small it is comfortable with everything you need. We were celebrating our anniversary and received a bottle of wine and chocolates from the hotel which was very much appreciated. The staff on reception were all very friendly as were the staff at the level one bar with the exception of the one guy with attitude that serving paying guests was a bit too much effort. The room was modern, comfortable bed, small fridge and desk. The hotel is in perfect location for visiting Adelaide, a couple of minutes from the mall, buses and tram if you have no car. Breakfast was typical hotel buffet although the hot food could have been kept warm at a bit higher temperature.

Disappointing

Reviewed By JFBell

This is a fairly standard 4 star hotel. Situation in central Adelaide is superb, with most of the city within walking distance. Overall a bit bland. Staff are helpful and the room was good; we had a corner room with twin aspect which was good. Just very vanilla. There is a roof bar, which we visited once. Good drinks, but lacking atmosphere. I realize we traveled out of high season, but we had no great enthusiasm to go back. Big let down was the shower. To my fairly certain knowledge, thermostatic shower valves have been available for 40 years, but this had separate hot and cold taps. Despite repeated attempts in the 6 days we were there I was unable to achieve a stable temperature. Typically I would go under the shower for 20 seconds, recoil as the water went cold for 10, then have another 20 seconds before it became uncomfortably hot. Not really acceptable in a luxury hotel.

Overall Good Stay with Few Hiccups!

Reviewed By sarikei s

I had a good stay overall with the hotel over the weekend while visiting friends and the city for holidays. The good is that it's located in a trendy North Adelaide area with a free city bus loop (98A) stop nearby. Within walking distance of 1.5km (20 - 30 minutes) from Rundle Mall. The bad, few confusions on free parking during booking online (normally separately paid and limited parking - I had to park my car at the Majestic Old Lion Apartments as the carpark at Minima is fully used during my stay), where to check in (need to check in at Majestic Old Lion Apartments) and no wifi during stay (advise was down during check in). There's no housekeeping during stay but able to ring staffs from Majestic Old Lion Apartments for service during opening hours. Staffs are overall helpful and acommodating. In short, if it wasn't due to parking confusion & limitations and no wifi during the stay, the ratings overall could be higher.

Weekend Business

Reviewed By phonsel

Amenities were OK, parking a bit tight and lots of loud noise from above our room-like someone moving furniture and yelling. Staff were very friendly, especially in the restaurant where good meals were served. The shower over an extremely deep bath would be difficult for people older than myself-70.
