This place is a gem... take my hat off to the Owners .. they work with so little and can dish up meals that are appetising and to fill a empty stomach... we have been here several times over the 3 years and never misses a beat ..Service is quite and food is worth the try..You won't be disappointed..I live the shire and this would be one of my favourite places for Thai ..We had Valentine's Day here .. it was busy But I will take my hat off to the owners & worker they did well... handling the crowd of people waiting to sit and eat ...But good on you for a job well done you have a little gold mine in food and serviceLove coming to this place and will be back again No photos to busy eating the food..

The name of this restaurant has recently changed to Laan Thai but thankfully the chef remains the same! Food was plentiful, tasty and very obviously freshly cooked and served by friendly and cheerful staff. A great little local restaurant, very convenient for those getting off the train each night.

We tried this place today for dinner. It is a neat and tidy place. They have an open kitchen. We have ordered a chicken and a vegetarian Pad-Si-Iews (rice noodles). Service was quick. Music was relaxing. The Pad-Si-Iews were fresh and smooth. The price of each plate is AUD13.90. We were given two mini cups to drink our jasmine tea. It was fun! We are certain to return again soon!

I should have known that it would be too good to be true. Hotel delivery, online ordering, 10% discount for first order and papaya salad. Food arrived right on scheduled time which was great, but hot meals were less than luke warm. I had to microwave the rice and penang prawn as they were not even warm enough to eat. Started on papaya salad which was definitely not made fresh. Papaya was soggy and quarters of tomato, (which I have never seen in a papaya salad before) were not ripe. Spice was good, but very average. Really should have been made fresh. Coconut rice was really sweet. Too sweet. I love the coconut taste, but they had obviously added sugar which just wasn't needed. Penang curry was also really sweet, and despite selecting medium chilli, there was no spice at all. Only 6 prawns too which wasn't really good value for $16.90. Also ordered fat free spring rolls which were essentially rice paper rolls mainly stuffed with lettuce. Disappointing. Overall, it was edible, but I wouldn't order again.

We have been to this restaurant several times. We like the food, it is a little different from run of the mill Thai food, though some dishes are a bit on the greasy side.Balcony dining is nice in summer. The service can be a bit patchy and you can bet that if you are inside on a weekend, it is a noisy restaurant.Their home delivery is pretty good and is very quick during the week.Worth a try if you are local and want something different from the run of the mill Thai noodle joints.

At Coco Rice Thai Cuisine we offer meals of excellent quality and invite you to try our delicious food. The key to our success is simple: providing quality consistent food that taste great every single time. We pride ourselves on serving our customers del
I found the table service to be a bit slow and green. They seem to enjoy hiring schoolies for service. I was here a year ago and I was pleased with the food and service. I noticed there has been a change in chef and management for this visit. There's a lot of takeaway and delivery with our observation. I think the place have changed their priorities and put the takeaway customers to the front of the queue. Here is what we ordered tonight:Fish Cakes - doesn't taste like homemade, it is a little rubbery and oilyPad Se-Ew - Reasonable amount of seafood, fresh enough but a bit oilyBeef Salad - Lots of beef, but not much leafy saladMassaman Curry Beef - A bit on the sweet side, they have lamb on the menu but that is always unavailableFried Softshell Crab - Nicely done, serving is small thoughOverall it is a hit and miss with this shop. They need to improve on the customer service and the food.

My husband and I have been here many times (most Friday nights in fact!). The staff and food have always been amazing. I can particularly recommend the pork dumplings and deep fried mushroom and tofu. Even if you havenât booked, you can just pop your name down on their list (stating your seating preferences) and they will ring you when your table is ready. In summary itâs the best place weâve eaten in Chatswood.

We wanted to try a different Thai restaurant and ended up here. I will admit, décor needs a lot to be desired... tatty furniture, worn carpet, plastic on tables, however, if these things do not worry you, then this is a great place to eat. Our entrees were delicious and plentiful (actually, sate dare I say, a bit too big). Our mains were Massaman Beef Curry, Chicken with Lemongrass and Chilli and Soft Shelled Crab. The crab was the only disappointment, it wasn't crispy. But overall, a great meal, plus NIL corkage! As I said, if you happy to put the decor aside, this is a great local place to eat good Thai

Visited Go Hun because it looked popular. Ordered a mussman curry (amazing, meat tender and falling apart) and a pad Thai which is a local favourite. There's limited seating available so most people order take away meals Service was fast, I can see why this place is popular!
