This is not just a âPizzeriaâ , but a complete Dining Extravaganza.Who else but this writer would brave the elements of a cold winters night and dine in Al Fresco surroundings â if not for the above. I can tell youâ¦.I was definitely NOT the only one, and we all LOVED it.For the purists, LANE COVE is the genuine site of this burgeoning Brand Name. Only here will you find the hustle, bustle and sheer enthusiasm vibrating from the very walls of this fine establishment. From the warm hugs âHELLOâ to the Photo Bombing Wait-Staff, to the Cocktail making Bar Staff who view their creations like New Born Children â the pace is frenetic ( without ONE sound of something breaking)My first experience with VIA NAPOLI was a Lunchtime jaunt â which left me in a perennial FOOD COMA for the rest of the supposed âWorking Dayâ. I have relived that joyous experience many times now and tonight was no exception.VIA NAPOLI is a restaurant for all Seasons and Occasions. A place that exudes exhuberance and pride through its staff and cuisine. All stand proud of its Italian heritage. And all â like a team of TV Evangelists, seek to convert all who walk thru their doors; and they largely always succeed!There is only ONE WAY TO GO when you Dine. Sit and say to your waiter â DeGustation plsâ¦then leave it to them. You will be treated to a feast with such fanfare that you are compelled to share the experience immediately via your favoured Social Media Forum â if only to make sure you believe it yourself! And the food is SCRUMPCIOUS! (my personal favourite is the Calamari and Mussels)For those celebrating SPECIAL OCCASIONSâ¦..be warned, the staff will leave an indelible mark on the event!!!Ensure you finish with the BOMBA for dessert and a customary LemonCello.There arenât many like VIA NAPOLI â theres no pretentiousness, no frilly forced politeness. Apart from the view , this restaurant has it going on. Itâs alway a worry when I am with a large group as historically ( in other venues) the food has been hit and miss. Not at Oliveto. They handled our large group fabulously! Service was great , food was great and ample. Iâm almost certain these guys can do this in their sleep. Try the very wobbly Pannacotta! Very very noice

Food is fresh and great quality. Also great range of Italian produce to choose from. Love the ricotta cannoli a perfect accompaniment to the great coffee. Others sweets available include biscotti and Italian donuts. All fresh and tasty.

Went here with about 15 people for a Christmas celebration lunch. We had a set price menu of $45.90. Starter was a huge caesar salad, antipasto platter with salad and garlic bread and you could have eaten enough for your lunch. Very generous servings.Main course a choice of chicken in brandy sauce, barramundi or fillet steak. Within the group all choices were tasted and everyone was very happy with their choice. For dessert tirimisu and good coffee. I thought this was an exceptional meal for the price. BYO or buy a drink there. Corkage $2.50. Will definitely be returning for another wonderful meal very soon.

Place was pretty crowded with lots of people passing by during late night shopping. Pizza of ham and pineapple - pastry was thin and unexciting, sweet potato chips portion was reasonable and the Greek salad was fresh. Wait staff was a trainee who was both polite and efficient. Otherwise, this was a meal which was not memorable.
