Beautiful sushi restaurant. Artistic decor, friendly service. The fish melts in your mouth. I found this place walking around the Gotemba station area. It is on the Fuji side. I was there on a Saturday and many restaurants do not serve lunch. Myoken does and it was a delightful experience. There are private rooms and I intend to return.

Our Panoramic Japan Tour-"Fuji-Hakone" stopped at this "Fuji Matsu View" windmill restaurant for their(1000 Yen each) Asian Buffet. Our guide placed us at shared tables on the porch, before we self served among the varied Asian choices; fish, clams, chicken ravioli, roasted chicken wings, fried boneless chicken, grilled tofu, fruit/vegetable salads, pickles, mizo soup, fruit drinks, and coffee, tea. The food was filling and delicious providing timely value for our 2PM group tour lunch.Next door was a nice souvenir shop to brouse and clean restrooms.

Our tour took us here for the famous Kaiseki cuisine a traditional multi course Japanese dinner.I loved it, very very nice.

I had seen some youtube videos talked about this sushi restaurant chain in Japan, so after shopping in the Gotemba outlet mall, I decided to go to this restaurant for dinner. It took around 10mins of driving to get there. I really appreciated this restaurant using technology to monitor the demand of sushi on the conveyer belt in order to control the supply of the sushi so the sushi on the conveyer will be fresh for the customer. Customer can also order their own sushi using the touch screen monitor, and the sushi will be sent to our table on a special lane. The price was great, only 100yen per dish. However, the quality is not very good. Just slightly better than those supermarket sushi. I had a lot of fun but not having a good meal.

we went as a group of 15 people, it's not easy to find a place to eat without reservation. good thing that this restaurant is available, we were given a kind of private room. which was very excellent. the food was nice. I recommend this restaurant.

After the initial shock of being greeted by a robot (which hands you your seat ticket - bar or table - it's your choice), Make your way to your seating, check the printed menu and the screen (English version, too). Now you can order. Unlimited matcha tea (not perhaps the best quality, but good, with a hot water tap at the table), unlimited sliced ginger, all the possible condiments and seasonings... chopsticks which are not the eco-UNfriendly wooden ones ... and away you go!

Arrived at Gotemba Premium Outlets around 11 10am. Tip: go straight to Uogashi and get a table immediately as restaurant soon fills up and a queue starts forming by noon. This way you'll have made better use of your limited time. Order your sushi using iPad and delivered via conveyor. Especially enjoyed the seared Tamago (egg).
