Reviewed By trnmnwndrgrls最寄り駅から徒歩5分以内の場所にあるペンションです。ランチでレストランだけ利用しました。セットメニューが8種類ほどありました。豚ロースのピリ辛照り焼き定食は1,050円、天ぷらうどんは880円でした。ボリュームもあり、おいしかったです。照り焼き定食の方は、私にはやや濃いめの味付けでした。

Very welcoming and homely
Reviewed By Emma RI was travelling with mum and 2 young kids and we stayed in the family room for 2 nights. Yuji was such a fantastic host who was very accommodating, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The family room offers considerable space which the kids loved after staying in smaller rooms and there were great facilities to eat and bring your own food. Yuji is very knowledgable and has great recommendations, speaks very good english and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend to anyone travelling who wants to feel a bit at home in a foreign country, I would (and hope to) stay again

Reviewed By たのさん日光と言っても東照宮から一時間くらい山道を走ったところにあるこじんまりとした宿です。 囲炉裏を囲んでの料理が良かったです。朝ごはんの舞茸ごはんが凄く良かった。また女将さんの人柄も良くまた利用したいです。

Felt like home
Reviewed By huiyuandiknowI was the only guest there, but the hostess welcomed me warmly. You can see the lake right from your window, and it's very comfortable in the room since the heater was on before I arrived. It's very wonderful especially in the winter. Dinner was wonderful as well because the hostess has a cook certificate of some sort. The bath is small and indoor, but you could open the window above to get some fresh air. I asked the hostess for hot water the day after, and she provided me hot water even though I was suppose to leave soon after. The heater is somewhat weird to use, so it might turn off in the middle of the night. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Cosy minshuku with a nice view and wifi
Reviewed By Nils VOur travel agency had booked this minshuku for us for our visit to Nikko. When we arrived at Chuzenji it was very foggy and we could barely see a thing. When we arrived to the minshuku we weren't very pleased with the very old exterior, but were also relieved to finally have a place to rest. The minshuku is held by an elderly couple, 70-ish with very basic english, but they welcomed us warmly and set us tea in our room. Our beds were already made, which is not custom in a minshuku. Our room was very spaceous and the heater under the table was a comfortable extra. Other reviews say there was no wifi, but we did hace it. All information about it was in our room's folder. We had dinner and breakfast here. Both were delicious! The very best part was the view from our room! We had an open view over the calm lake and the mountain behind it. The mountain was covered in vibrant autumn colors. Autumn sets in sooner here because of the altitude. This minshuku made us prefer traditional Japanese lodging over western hotels.

Reviewed By NARAMARI古い民宿です。 遅い時間にチェックインしました。周囲はまっくらで分かりにくかったです。 朝早くにチェックアウトしましたが、勝手に出ていくようにと言われました。 寝るだけなら安くて十分です。 宿の目の前が中禅寺湖で、早朝の散歩は気持ちよかったです。
