A top spot if you are hungry and in a hurry. Great service, good wholesome steaks with or without a buffet option. These are not top quality (by Japanese standards) steaks but they are still really good steaks with quality toppings. I had the grilled garlic topping my wife the Camembert - both were well cooked. Good Matcha ice cream for desert all for just a bit more than you would spend at a fast food place.

Our day started with great views of Mount Fuji, but then the clouds came and by 7 AM the mountain was gone and by noon the rains started. We were looking for something to do and found the Gotemba Kogen Resort on one of the tourist maps. What got my attention was the brewery there. We checked out their webpage and decided to try the buffet restaurant, mostly because it said that âThere are always five varieties of beers all brewed with pure Mt. Fuji spring waterâ. There were at least seven types when we went, and all of them were quite good. I particularly liked the hefeweizen. For the food, it looks like they have a Japanese area that stays pretty much the same and another area for international dishes that change. When we went, it was Turkish, French and Chinese. The Japanese section was good and I ate my monies worth of sushi. The other section had some decent items, but it just wasnât as good as the Japanese section. Officially the price was 3150 Yen for 80 minutes of all you can eat and drink, but when we got our receipt, the time was crossed out and a new time was handwritten that gave us 90 minutes. It was a good way to spend some time on a rainy day tasting the beers and trying the different foods. I also enjoyed checking out some of the great gadgets they have there, like the beer machines that move the nozzle down into your glass before it starts to pour and raises it as it fills so it doesnât get too much head, and the miso soup machine.

The Food at the Viking was great, the beers really tastes good, the service is good and we even spotted the Band playing really good music, beautiful singer sings really good. They have the Crab Fair, really deicious. You can have everything in this place, the soccer field view while eating and drinking the good beer. I wanna come back soon in this Restaurant
