Arrived at Gotemba Premium Outlets around 11 10am. Tip: go straight to Uogashi and get a table immediately as restaurant soon fills up and a queue starts forming by noon. This way you'll have made better use of your limited time. Order your sushi using iPad and delivered via conveyor. Especially enjoyed the seared Tamago (egg).

As a westerner, I was fortunate to have a local colleague take me this hidden gem.
I'm open to trying new food and was really happy to get a chance to try a local restaurant.
I had a huge bowl of raw seafood and rice. Salmon, shrimp, eel, squid, tuna, scallop, and mackerel were heaped on this dish.
If you want authentic, local, and fresh, give it a try!
Not fancy, but worth the experience.

The Food at the Viking was great, the beers really tastes good, the service is good and we even spotted the Band playing really good music, beautiful singer sings really good. They have the Crab Fair, really deicious. You can have everything in this place, the soccer field view while eating and drinking the good beer. I wanna come back soon in this Restaurant

I have been here for dinner and lunch. Both times the experience has been more than satisfying. The food is excellent and the view is very special. The ambiance is different for lunch than dinner and in a way, it is even better.

御殿場インターからすぐ。御殿場アウトレットモールや静岡名物？炭火焼きハンバーグのさわやか御殿場インター店近くにあります。とらや工房からは10分くらいのところにあります。お店の半分くらいは喫茶で、お菓子を食べながらお茶をすることもできます。お店限定の羊羮があり、アウトレットモールの帰りに行くのも悪くないと思います。

An excellent surprising little restaurant about 10 minutes drive from Gotemba Premium Outlet.
The owner and chef Kisanuki San was very friendly and tentative, and even divided our pasta dish in two serves so we could share, without is asking. The restaurant does not have an English menu but Kisanuki San explained each item to us in English.
We were given amuse bouche of a small bruschetta and pate on toast, which started our appetites.
Our assorted starter was delicate and consisted of both authentic Italian flavours like the chicken rillete and pate, and Japanese influenced bites like the pickles lotus root.
Our salami pizza had a thin base with crunchy edges, and the texture was perfectly light but still had some chewiness.
The mixed seafood pasta was really fresh and had a mixture of prawns, scallops, octopus, pippis and mussels.
Finally the tiramisu was the best surprise. The mascapone was so light that it was like a souffle that disappeared once you put it in your mouth.
For a shared plate of entree, a pasta, a pizza, a dessert and a glass of wine, the bill came to 5600yen. Not too expensive, and everything, from the food to the service, was well worth it !

During our recent Tour of Japan, on our way from Mt Fuji to Nagoya, we had a stop at Gotemba India restaurant for lunch.It is a small place but quality of Indian veg.food was exceptionally good. They served pakoras first followed by 3 veg dishes roti/naan. All prepared to perfection, I had Asahi beer to start with and everyone in our group loved the lunch

古くは秩父宮親王をはじめ、岸信介や黒沢明など著名人の別荘のあった閑静な別荘地、東山地区にたたずむ茶房。茅葺屋根の山門をくぐると、清楚な雰囲気の竹林が続き、小川が流れる公園のような場所に、和風の建物があります。「マツコの知らない世界」でも紹介されるなど有名店で、開店前から行列。釜飯や限定のお菓子はお昼過ぎには売り切れのことも。15時過ぎには、名物のどら焼きがなくなることもあるくらい混雑必至。セルフの茶房で、好きなお菓子を選ぶとお茶がサービス。お茶は湯飲みを持っていくとおかわりができます。持ち帰り(4個まで)のどら焼きとお汁粉をオーダー。上品な甘さの餡とカステラののどら焼きは、心まで上品になりそう。お汁粉は小豆が甘すぎず美味。また行きたいと感じさせる、休日の一時にオススメの茶房です。

We always end up in fuku fuku on the way back to tokyo ,its our first choice in the area the chefs are always friendly and knolageble Its really cozy in winter when you get to seat in the tatami rooms very comfortable . the service is great even when most of the time during week ends they are quite busy.booking is recommended , you may enjoy sushi and also unagi they have a vast variety on the menu and the prices are reasonable
best place to have dinner and wait for the traffic to dye down
