Went here for an early dinner with a group of 7 on New Years Day when most restaurants in the area were closed. The food was great, especially the pizza. The service wasnât great though. Despite plenty of staff milling around some perhaps inexperienced) we were never asked for a second round of drinks or asked whether we wanted desert or coffee, which was really odd. We also had issues getting the bill - had to ask twice.

Inspired By Sydneyâs Beautiful Foreshore And Paying Homage To The Restaurantâs Strong Italian Ties, Angeloâs Cabarita Offers A Contemporary Dining Atmosphere Featuring A Terrazzo Marble Bar, Natural European Oak Floors, Bespoke Lighting And A Private Dini
I really enjoyed the fond on my recent visit, and the views from the restaurant are lovely. But the noise is unbearable. I cannot return! There are no table cloths, no curtains, no carpet, nothing to absorb the noise. With a crowd of people it is so loud you cannot even hear or talk to the people on your own table. I left the restaurant with ringing ears. Why haven't they got enough sense to to put in something to absorb the noise???

The meals we had were Osso Bucco and Fettuccine Boscaiola. Both were delicious. My husband said the vegetables were some of the best he has ever tasted. Meat beautifully tender. Pasta was extremely tasty. Reasonable selection of wine by glass or bottle plus beers and cider. Reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. Franco has been there for 29 years so must be doing something right. Highly recommended
Who knew eating in the corner of a fresh seafood shop on plastic chairs could be so good!?! This place is basically a seafood shop that will also cook your seafood fresh on request. And they cook it beautifully! There's quite a bit of choice, but it's all seafood, chips, salad......just done very very well. The fish can be done any way you want really - grilled, battered, crumbed, marinated....they even have a carpaccio option on the menu. They have basic fish n chips (about $14), through to beautiful whole snapper ($18), a great grilled/battered/crumbed barramundi/salmon/ flathead etc with chips and Greek salad/coleslaw/tabouli etc ($18). The marinated BBQ octopus with salad and chips was $18 and was possibly the best octopus I've ever had. It was tasty, tender and not a hint of rubbery anywhere. Big serves too. There's only 4 or 5 tables inside (and it is a bit squishy), and 1 or 2 outside on the footpath. There's always people eating here which is always a good sign. It's not a fancy, candlelit restaurant....no tablecloths etc but it's excellent value for money. It's very clean and doesn't have that overpowering fishy smell that some seafood shops have. They also do takeaway. In terms of access, parking on Majors Bay Rd is always tight but if you are patient people are coming and going from the parks pretty quickly. There is a disabled carpark right out the front of the shop (literally a few steps away) and a couple more around the corner. There's no stairs. Only issue is the space inside the shop is tight, but there's plenty of room at the outside tables.

Excellent little suburban fishmonger that also sells frozen and cooked seafood. Good value fish & etc. Ring ahead for pick-up packs then go up to Cabarita Point Ferry Wharf and enjoy watching the action on the Parramatta River. There is a bottle shop nearby too.
