Only been here a short while and have already have lunch and supper here! Not a huge choice which in my mind often is best, no out the freezer meals here. The galettes are delicious as are the moule frites, they have a simple three course 16.50 menu excellent value. Clean, light spacious resturant with outdoor sitting as well. Overlooking the sea always a bonus.

Visited last year and it's still the same café on the main street. They serve a big selection of beers - mainly Belgian - and spirits and cocktails. A range of food is served ; Continental and English breakfasts, burgers, salads, oysters etc. For a good lunch there are better places to eat. The staff seemed a bit indifferent, even when I was trying to pay!! Worth a visit to watch the world go by.

Not sure why this hasn't been reviewed yet, as St Palais doesn't have a huge selection of places to go..Caught in a rainstorm we ended up here out of coincidence rather than choice, and with a five year old, the menu (based around crepes) was unchallenging. The waiter/owner was charming and very helpful and also sympathetic to our bedraggled state. The fresh hot oyster starter with leeks & Pineau de Charentes was absolutely first rate, and the crepes were exemplary, as well as not breaking the bank. This is more of a family place, and the menu is not gastronomic, but they clearly take advantage of the fresh local produce including fish and seafood. Friendly and accommodating, its a stroll from the beach but a decent little find.
