This restaurant is Bretagne featured and the cider served in cups seems to be very popular. Corks are popping all the time and it always seems busy. The food is good and they certainly pile on the frites but I have found that some of the staff aren't that friendly - maybe they are just too busy.It's not one of my favourites - I prefer the Coyote or Chez Lolo.p

Me and 10 other members of my family visited this restaurant twice during our 6-night stay! The staff were immediately so accommodating towards our large family including my 2 year old. The food is absolutely incredible and could not fault the service! You must go (and have the ribs!!!)

Excellent food, excellent service and excellent location. My wife and I chose from the menu decouverte and all the dishes were superb. Great ingredients, well cooked and perfectly seasoned. The menu was inventive. Service was professional and attentive. The decor is very pleasing and the view magnificent. Total bill for two including a bottle of wine was â¬100 which, considering the location and quality, was reasonable. Unlike some other reviewers we didn't feel rushed at all. Maybe that is only a problem at the height of the season? Highly recommended and I would certainly go back.

What a wonderful lunch we had. The restaurant decor is fantastic and the food is exquisite. Starting with the Pigs Tail (yes it is and itâs excellent) all the way through desert the entire culinary experience rivals any restaurant in NY, Paris or London.We recommend this to everyone!

Only been here a short while and have already have lunch and supper here! Not a huge choice which in my mind often is best, no out the freezer meals here. The galettes are delicious as are the moule frites, they have a simple three course 16.50 menu excellent value. Clean, light spacious resturant with outdoor sitting as well. Overlooking the sea always a bonus.

Visited here with family delightful restaurant, when you walked in smelt like a wooden cabin. Warm cozy and friendly Staff pleasant and helpful Food and wine delicious and good clean service French food tasty Great little find would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again I thought it was expensive but worth it

Everything about our dinner was superb.The food was delicious,the service friendly and faultless,the air conditioning worked well.St Palais was suffering from a plague of mossies and flying ants, but not in this restaurant as the rooms had been sprayed just prior to opening.Very very good.

Had delicious gourmet lunch as well as Friday nite dinner overlooking the 18 th hole. Food gourmet quality wellpriced. Service top notch. Has to be one of best restaurants in this lovely seaside cities. When you tire of the very good beach choices try the golf club for a dining experience!

Our first night in Royan and were drawn towards this Portside restaurant on the Strip .A warm and inviting Welcome .A broad selection of plates .Good quality food albeit simple dishes .Large portions and friendly services .Typical overpricing but they are all the same on Portside .You pay to eat on the Harbour in the sunshine!
