Our hotel shuttle brought us out for some dinner and adult beverages. This place really hit the spot. The beers and food were really good and really hit the spot. The atmosphere, even on a Tuesday night, was great. I left completely stuffed! I'd like to go back and try some more of their beers and different menu items.

Been a few years, thought we'd try this place again. This time on a Monday when there wouldn't be live music in a sports bar. Place was busier than expected, but not so busy to explain the slow getting seated, the slow food coming, the slow (ok, never) dressing for the dish, the slow picking up of the check, the non-existent filling of the glasses.Prices aren't bad, food is ok at best. I'll give it another 3 years and see how they are doing then, if they are still around

Morse Tavern

If you are looking for a fun place in metro west Boston that isn’t going to break your bank Morse’s Tavern is your time pace. They recently expanded the bar and there are lots of screens with various sports playing. Morse’s boasts a nice on tap menu with specialty beers. The food menu is actually quite lengthy and everything we have tried is decent. Live bands playing rock are here regularly if you like that scene. For me always a good thing. Worth checking out if you find yourself in Natick.

Lookout Farm Taproom

We had dinner at the Lookout Farm and Taproom Friday night. I'd actually give it a "Good", rather than "Very Good" rating. Tastings available for both craft beer and hard cider. We tasted a beer flight and unanimously agreed on the the Barn Door Belgian Tripel as our favorite. A limited bar menu includes tasty flatbreads, charcuterie, hummus and veggies, pretzels, wings, chicken tenders, and salad with honey crisp apples. Live entertainment on weekends until 9:00 pm. Nice tasting room, casual and welcoming setting. Patio seating available until 6:00 pm. Recommend that they post their menu online. I understand that food is secondary, however, expanding the menu to add a few "Farm to Table" or made locally menu options, i.e., spiced nuts, and jazzing up the present offerings, perhaps drizzling olive oil on top of hummus and adding a few olives, would be fun. Children welcome. Water and cider also available. Tasting room is loud when bands are playing therefore for those looking for conversation, I suggest sitting in the porch area or at the entrance near the door. Beer and cider available for purchase in 4-packs and growlers, although pricey. Special promotions, i.e., Trivia night and half-price wings during the week. Perfect place to be on a comfortable fall night. Good enough for a return visit!

John Harvard's Brew House

We went in for a quick lunch and were seated immediately, served quickly and friendly, and received our meals hot and properly cooked. It is a very enjoyable experience even though it is a brew-house and we don't drink beer. We lunch here about twice each year when traveling through to visit family and it is never a disappointment. I can not imagine what went wrong for anyone who didn't like it because they are very eager to please. We recommend this restaurant highly. Comfortable and tasty. We had their Shepard's Pie this time.
