We were a little cautious at first, as the restaurant and terraces were completely empty, while the neighbours were filling up, but inspired by the positive TripAdvisor reviews and our motto: "Who dares, wins!" we took a table and passed our order...The pizzas were delicious, (La Provençale was my favourite) and the "Salade du Chef" was another choice we all enjoyed. Definitely a place we will be returning too soon. Bon Appétit!

This is a small, but busy, restaurant tucked away in a quiet corner of the beach in La Ciotat. The food has a fish/seafood focus, but they also do pizzas (reasonably priced). The service is good, but the food is not brilliant - but not that bad either. The desserts are all very good. However, facing the sea, with large bay windows, it offers great views of the coast.

Hidden in a small street behind the port, l'Auberge Provençale perfectly represents its region : beautiful and full of good things. Everything (I guess) is home made and served in generous portions. You'll even get the chance to taste great pizzas (and God knows pizza is always a good idea, as is french cuisine).Only drawback would be the price of the desserts, a bit too expensive compared to what you get, although the quality makes you forget about that.

Lovely location. Friendly welcome & friendly helpful staff throughout. Very nice pizzas. Two different size pizza options. Other menu choices available but we stuck to pizzas. Kids menu offered. Only downside was the very slow service but they were full to the brim.

Super pizzas, nice place to eat or to take away. Parking is available, prices are correct. Great choice of pizzas, I will go again for sure. Also delivery at home, but it takes time. Very good value for money. They don't really speak English, but manageable.

Very unassuming looking place, but we'd read the good reviews so popped in. Was just what we needed on a blustery, rainy evening. Buckets of red wine for me and local beer for him, delicious pizzas (I had the moussaka with extra roasted pepper, he had the fromagere which is like a 4 cheese but with a cream base), amazing puddings and perfect service. Price was extremely reasonable and it was a really lovely meal. Very highly recommended!

My wife and I visited this place after reading the comments on TripAdvisor. First problem is the restaurant being situated on a quite busy road without parking space nearby. The interior is a little tacky, but clean. The menu offers a wide variety of pizzas, from classic to inspired variations. They are large and have a generous topping. The pizzas of our choice were good without being exceptional. We also ordered dessert and were pleased with it. Service was swift and friendly. Not a bad place for a quick meal, if you can find a spot for your car.
