Port Hueneme (/waɪˈniːmi/ wy-NEEM-ee) is a small beach city in Ventura County, California surrounded by the city of Oxnard and the Santa Barbara Channel. The name derives from the Spanish spelling of the Ventureño phrase wene me, meaning "Resting Place". Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo explored this area and the adjacent Channel Islands in October 1542. The town's name was officially changed to Port Hueneme in 1939 and was incorporated March 24, 1948.

Came here for pasta meal before a double century the next day; wasnât disappointed. Had spaghetti and meatballs ($12.45), exactly what I wanted. Was good! Husband had sausage and soup, also good. Friendly service, good food, typical American style Italian food, recommended.

While being stuck at home one weekend ill.....figured can't go wrong with pizza.Ordered pizza & wings.....in my mind expected 45min +++.....they go to my placein less than 30 minutes....even through the gate!!! Food was hot....tasty....and it made me feel better!!!

While staying in a hotel nearby in Oxnard, we decided to order Toppers Pizza. It had some great reviews and some not so great but we were tired and wanted something easy. The expected delivery time for a Friday night was 45 minutes. We were pleasantly surprised when it was at our hotel in 30 minutes - hot and steamy. We ordered a pizza, breadsticks, and my husband had a sandwich and loved it. In fact, we were so pleased, we ordered the exact same order for the following night!

Stopped for lunch, yes lunch, open Tues - Fri from 11:30am to 2pm, reopening for dinner at 5pm. Former employee Rico, now the new owner was serving food the day I was there. Very pleasant guy, excited to give you the history of the restaurant. I had rigatoni with marinara sauce and two Italian sausage links which was excellent. Small Italian salad and garlic bread accompanies meal. Nice menu with a good selection of Italian dishes including Pizza. Comfortably decorated with both booths and tables and chairs. Plenty of parking in back where main entrance to Restaurant is located. I will return for dinner in future.

Don't let the decor or the building stop you from eating here! Let Dean Martin serenade you as you enjoy some of the best Italian Food there is! WOW! Portion sizes are very large and everything was great! Wish they had a little better beer selection but ..... The food is great!

We stayed across the street and the front desk suggested Dan's.It's a very odd setup occupying 3 different storefronts. A somewhat grumpy man took our order. Medium pizza small salad 2 small sodas and pitcher of beer $50. Yikes.The good:The kids loved the coke freestyle machine.The pitcher of beer was huge. I gave half to another partyThe salad bar was small, but freshThe bad$20 for a medium pizza is crazy. Especially for a so-so pizza. Sausage topping was possibly not actually meat. Pepperoni and salami were good. Mushroom and green peppers were dried out/burnt.The seating is odd. And not terribly comfy Kids running wild (not the staff's fault)Karaoke in the back room could have been fun, but too loud and poorly engineered for the space.Bottom line is $20 for a so so medium pizza is out of line. Papa John's is a better choice.

The pizza was delicious. The thickness of the dough was perfect and sauce had great flavor. We ordered it for delivery to a hotel where we were staying with no problems.
