When I first heard Little Caesars was coming to Kinston. I was like it would not last here. My experience with Little Caesars in college was buy on get one free, hence the name pizza, pizza. Back then the bread was thick and doughy and there was minimal tops and cheese of the pizza. You would have to order marinate sauce just to get through the experience of eating the doughy pizza. Wow! was I surprised when I tried it here. This is not the same LC. It is better. the pizza is good and not salty at all. The drive up and get the hot and ready is an extra benefit no waiting. Whoever reinvented LC's business model deserves a lot of credit.

Tried to visit some years ago, but thought it seemed to be closed. Must have only been that day. Returned and enjoyed like I did years ago when I worked down the road. It's not just pizza, but everything else (lasagna, spaghetti, chicken wings, collards, etc).

I was visiting Kinston for an overnight trip and one of the things I noticed is that downtown there is a nice selection of restaurants within walking distance of where I stayed but the list dwindles quite a bit after about 5 pm. The inside of the restaurant is a little different in that when you enter, you feel like you should be ordering something like a sub. The counter is very close to the front door and is where you order and pay for your food. The tables are in an adjoining larger room. I filled my own soda cup and found a table. My salad arrived soon after and when I was done with my salad, my pizza slice arrived. The salad seemed fresh and the slice was pretty big. I was still a little hungry so I ordered some wings. The wings were good.Overall, the food was good, not cheap but not really expensive, and the portions were reasonable.
