As of the 2010 United States Census the city's population was 64,270, reflecting a decline of 5,554 (−8.0%) from the 69,824 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 3,728 (−5.1%) from the 73,552 counted in the 1990 Census. The city was the state's 20th most-populous municipality in 2010, after having been the state's 14th most-populous municipality in 2000.

We only went there because it had excellent reviews already and they didnât prove false.The pizza, gluten-free for me, was fantastic, the sort that is only occcasionally found where the pieces can be picked up and eaten by hand because theyâre crispy. It was flavoursome and very good value for money too.A special word for the staff, two of whom separately had a chat with us to make us welcome.Would we go back? Too right we would!

This is a solid choice for pizza near the Prudential Center. Nice open space, friendly service. They have a more limited menu before events but there is still plenty to choose. We found the tasty to be very tasty and well prepared (and I say this as a NY-based pizza snob). The chicken wings however, were overcooked and dry. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our meal.

We celebrated my sisters getting her masters in nursing and had dinner here for about 12 people. Besides the challenges of finding parking, itâs very accessible. The server was very sweet and attentive and the overall atmosphere is casual and comfortable. We had our 4 year old and it was way past her bedtime, so we quickly ordered a margarita pizza. It was perfect for her and for us. We also shared the aracini. The pasta fishers were very generous in size and flavorful. Itâs BYOB which makes it more economical for large parties. Overall good good and great service for a crowd.

Its $5 pizzas and its fast. This is not gourmet or classic. This is simply for kids, or friends or co-workers or an event. You get a basic pizza for prices the local guys can't really touch. But this is commercial pizza - not classic.

Everything here is so fresh and tasty - never disappoints! Only complaint is I wish the place took reservations or expanded. Many times we want to go but don't because we just don't have the time or patience to wait (and wait, and wait.....)

Give me a relaxed welcoming environment serving great food over a uptight fancy pants restaurant serving overpriced food every time. Star Pizzeria did not disappoint. Here I will say that it's everything that makes it great. The chill bar with lots of tables, tv's, locals, cheap beer, and good food. We ordered a plain and pepporni pizza. The pizza was crispy, cheesy, and tasty. It was good in a thin crust bar style pizza is good. Would I go back just for the pizza? Probably not but if someone wants good food, cheap drinks, and a casual atmosphere. Star Tavern is a great spot.
