We live in Spain and although we throughly enjoy Spanish food. It's just lovely to try something different. Marhaba was exactly that. The main waiter ( or maybe the owner?) came and introduced the restaurant and talked about the dishes. What he recommended and what wine went well. He spoke good English and was very helpful. We tried some of his suggestion and also went with our own choices too. Excellent food from starters all the way to the desserts.Everything was so tasty and fresh, but my favorites were theMoroccan desserts and mint tea. Glad this place was off the beaten track, so to speak. A hidden gem and not over run with typical English tourists wanting nuggets and fries! Would defiantly recommend this restaurant to everyone with and looking for a taste of something different. Glad we found you, will return next time we are in Almeria.Thank you Mahaba and its staff for a wonderful evening.

We just ate at Aljaima and it was amazing. So flavorful! Reasonably priced and really friendly helpful servers. Authentic decor inside. We'd definitely come back!

The small unpretentious frontage belies the large interior of this restaurant. Its narrow but very long and even has a spillout area in the back street past the kitchen. I had some nice chicken grilled on skewers, with salad and fries. Finished off with some sweet mint tea. Very reasonably priced too.Tip; the outdoor eating area round the back. If you continue along that quiet back street and turn left, you'll find a misque.
