My wife and I had lunch here, and we were very very impressed. First, the ambience and decor in this restaurant is so beautiful, original, and just amazing. Second, the staff are very polite, friendly, and respectful. We felt at home immediately. Third, the food is really good, and tasty. Basically,in Ashourya, it's like taking a trip into Syrian culture and culinary delights. We will definitely go back more and more. Lastly, a special thanks to Mr Majd, he really made us feel so welcome.

The restaurant is not located in the center but it is definitely worth making a detour. The restaurant is focused on the Lebanese cuisine or on Middle East cuisine in general. A daily lunch menu includes many small bowl with different types of meals and dips of excellent quality. Their tabbouleh is outstanding. Many meals satisfy vegetarians. The service is fast, a head waiter polite, friendly and helpful. Recommended for all who love meals made of fresh ingredients and especially for those who are in vegetarian meal.

Last minute decision but it came up trumps.North Africa cuisine but new to us.Loverly staff beautiful surroundings and different exciting food.Tasty and cheap â¬64 for 4.No alcohol but still very good.Worth a visit

We wanted a change from French, and thought that North African would be a good choice in Marseille. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, despite their limited English. The food we were served was fantastic, We had bricks for entrees-very thin crispy pastries stuffed with goodies. My main course was spicy merguez sausages on a bed of couscous, served with a vegetable tagine for us to share. Servings were very generous, prices were very reasonable-highly recommended! Note that this is an Islamic restaurant and alcohol is not served.Thank you for your positive feedback.
