Reviews on Lebanese food in Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. Travelers visit the port city of Marseille, the third largest city in France, for the meeting of style and history. The bay, flanked by Fort Saint-Nicolas, and Fort Saint-Jean shelters the Castle of If, from Count of Monte Cristo fame. Watched over by the basilica Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde, the city's pedestrian zones and shopping areas (including the colorful French-African quarter) mix with historical sites.Travelers looking for a fun time go to the OK Corral, a cowboy theme amusement park.

Amazing food, really good! Very friendly staff. It is not cheap, but the price is fair for the quality. I recommend the place!

My wife and I had lunch here, and we were very very impressed. First, the ambience and decor in this restaurant is so beautiful, original, and just amazing. Second, the staff are very polite, friendly, and respectful. We felt at home immediately. Third, the food is really good, and tasty. Basically,in Ashourya, it's like taking a trip into Syrian culture and culinary delights. We will definitely go back more and more. Lastly, a special thanks to Mr Majd, he really made us feel so welcome.

The restaurant is not located in the center but it is definitely worth making a detour. The restaurant is focused on the Lebanese cuisine or on Middle East cuisine in general. A daily lunch menu includes many small bowl with different types of meals and dips of excellent quality. Their tabbouleh is outstanding. Many meals satisfy vegetarians. The service is fast, a head waiter polite, friendly and helpful. Recommended for all who love meals made of fresh ingredients and especially for those who are in vegetarian meal.

We arrived a bit late in the restaurant, but they accepted to serve us. First of all, no veggie options on the menu except a starter which was a lentil soup and the desserts. I am surprised because the chef seems to work with lots of ingredients suitable for veggie people. We asked the waitress if she can suggest, change or remove something from a dish and she seemed to agree. Then the chef came, angry, saying that he can't do anything for us, moaning it was too late and that we should have booked earlier and tell him we were veggie before coming. He asked us if we like eggs. Then he left, we didn't know what we were going to have.Bad way to consider us. We wanted to leave. But we ordered, it was late and our non veggie friends were starving so...The waitress came with a proper veggie dish for me and a regular dish for my veggie friend saying he just need to remove the shrimps and the nems!!!!!! They are not really aware of what being veggie means here...Finally he cooked us something nice but charged us the same price as a non veggie dish. We felt non respected and hosted in a very bad way just because we are different, their attitude was not professional, and it makes me feel sad like many restos in France, vegetarian are not considered the way they should be.
