A favorite for healthy Mexican food. Grilled fish, veggies, brown rice, and tofu, all uncommon options at most Mexican places that let you chose something tasty yet good for you. I recommend the Banzai bowl with their signature white rice, black beans, and spicy grilled fish.

Every time I come here for lunch or dinner, this place is always busy. It opens at 11:00 am so get there early for lunch as it will get really busy at noon when everyone else is out to lunch. It's best not to order too may things at once (for your co-workers), it can get confusing. The line does move pretty fast. Menu is simple, ingredients are simple too.

My Husband and I had a late lunch. He ordered the Seabass which isn't on the menu. He thought it was delightful. The price $29.99. I ordered Chicken Veracruz for $16.75 and it was excellent. The Chips they serve are just ok because they aren't warm or salted and they were all broken and it also had too much Cilantro for me. If you like Cilantro it will be good for you. Overall great service and one of the best Mexican places in Long Beach!

It's unlikely to find a table but to- go works fine.... Chicken is fantastic, sides are ok if you like the options to begin with. Don't forget the salsa!

I have been to El Burrito many times. It is delicious Mexican food in a wonderful location.Love their store made refried beans, their meat tacos are always full of good meat, they bring you hot and mild salsa with store mad chips. Food is always served hot and quick. Service can be spotty but this time it was wonderful and courteous.Take a stroll after and watch the sunset. Location is wonderful.

Fabulous restaurant, great live music, heaters for outside seating, fantastic service and delicious food. One person in our party had crutches so we needed the shortest way to the restaurant from our car. The shortest way was parking by "John Garey Fitness and Pilates" and taking the sidewalk pathway to Playa Amor. We initially tried to park by BevMo, but this was a much longer walk. Construction at this location should not deter you from eating here. It just made finding the restaurant more of a challenge. Hope you get a chance to eat here. We loved our dinner here!

Lunch Monday June 25Got my faveâ : 1 item combo /refried beans only ( as opposed to rice AND beans), extra tortillas .Service snappy.Owner visited each table asking if everything OK.Portions large enough so one can make an extra soft taco AND Still have a take home container for a treat for the wife.Will continue to support this fine business

I love this restaurant. The flavors are delicious! The chips and salsa were fresh and the salsa was perfect. I ordered a burrito with shredded chicken, vegetables and pinto beans. It was topped with green sauce. You can customize it yourself. My bf ordered enchilada, and chili relleno with mole sauce.

If you like carnitas, Taco Surf makes theirs incredibly juicy and delicious. They have great al pastor and fish tacos as well as carne Asada and shrimp. The only disappointment is the retried beans, which taste like your average restaurant supplier type. The restaurant is small but cool and the staff was very friendly. Overall a great choice when in Seal Beach.
