Went with some friends that religiously go there and everyone was a pleased as ever. This is a well run operation and certainly worth it's reputation. Since I had a big breakfast I just got the chowder, but the fish and classy salads my friends devoured look awesome. Next time I'll go for dinner.

This small, unassuming place takes reservations and you definitely need them!! They have indoor and outside patio seating. We went here on a chilly evening so we opted for an inside booth. Good choice!! The waitress was delightful and helped us with suggestions. The tuna tartar was recommended and we surely see why. It was fabulous and a generous portion. Next time, I might make that my main meal. Speaking of main meals, we ordered the Hake and the Salmon. Both were tasty and cooked to perfection. The sides were good. I'm not sure I can come up with a word to best describe the warm butter cake for dessert. WOW!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!! SCRUMPTIOUS!! It was one of the best desserts we have ever had!! Simple, yet textures and taste that left us talking about this dessert for weeks!! My husband has even tried to find out how to make it, all to no avail. We ate here almost 3 weeks ago and we will forever remeber Nick's for the dessert. Maybe we'll have to come all the way from South Florida again just for the dessert!!

My co-workers and I tried the lunch special for take out.....everyone was quite happy with the flavors and quality of the food and service. Sydney helped us as we picked up everything, explaining all the add ins and sides, she was a delight......the fried potatoes are delicious along with our pita sandwiches. The chicken shwarma is fantastic.

I brought a date here to dine & watch a performance. The staff were friendly and attentive. I had the Chilean Sea Bass & my date ate the Spaghetti and meatballs and both were delicious. The tiramisu was scrumptious, too. The acoustics in the Entertainment lounge were extraordinary! I loved the entire experience of being there.

A relaxed and friendly establishment. We both ordered the daily special which was steak with vegetables. Sadly, when the meals arrived the requested medium steaks looked totally undercooked and were infact cold to the touch. Sent back. The same steaks returned now overcooked but at least edible.

The Crema Cafe

My friends and I met there for a birthday breakfast! Lovely outdoor seating area. Extensive selection of delicious baked goods and on the menu. Choosing just one dish made it challenging in a good way. So we ordered 3 different dishes and shared!

Dish one: Lemon Curd Crepes: delightful!
Dish two: Spinach and mushroom omelet with side of ham and scrambled eggs: perfectly prepared!
Dish three: Avocado Toast: Well seasoned, nice healthy serving and delish!

Many coffee selections
Staff were very attentive and helpful with answering questions we had.
Location: Perfect! After a meal there, it was nice to stroll down to the pier to "work" off the breakfast!
Prices: Reasonable
Food: Friend wanted to eat pancakes/crepes but cannot have wheat or rice. Maybe coconut or almond flour as a substitute?

Beachwood BBQ

Ate here with several adults and two kids. Their acclaim is the large and diverse beer menu, and as the name suggests, the barbecue. Our table tried many of the barbecue options including pork, brisket, pastrami, and baby backs. All were pleased. The have an option for trying two or three different types of meat with your meal. The meat is served dry, with several options for sauces (sweet, spicy, mustard based, vinegar) available on the tables. Other surprises include the fried pickles and the fried portobello mushrooms. The sides were great. The smoked Ahi was uninspired. They don't have a published kids menu, but the chefs can make a plain mac and cheese or a cheese sandwich.

Four of us enjoyed Taco Surf in Seal Beach. We had a variety of meals and while we all thought they were good, none qualified as very good or great. Burrito, taco, chimy... just good. The salsa was very good, however. And the atmosphere was fun. The service, from a couple of staff, was great.

Angelo's Italian Deli

Reviewed By Maria S

Mum and I saw the spot and dropped in for some semolina. Good selection of imported pastas, preserved goods, and cheeses. Angelo was friendly and seems like a good salesperson. Didn't get a chance to try a sandwich, but based on the bread, eggplant and cheese we tried, I'd venture to say they're worth a taste.
