We've eaten at others within their "chain" in other cities, and it has been very good. Here the food was average. The burrito mexicano was very boring - without much taste, My partner said the Chimichanga was fair and liked it. Our client had the steak fajitas and said they were "about normal" for a mexican restaurant. It seems that this La Parrilla isn't maintaining the same standards as the others we've eaten around Alabama. Too bad because the area is a favorite for us.

Third trip to this restaurant, primarily because of its location.One thing which is consistently good is the attitude of their employees, from bus boys to hostesses and wait staff, all offer a smile and a pleasant attitude. Polite and friendly.As far as the food, it is exactly what you would expect. I would call if average tex-mex and nothing out of the ordinary.It can get loud at times during weekend dinner if there is a full house.Pretty good value for the price and their margaritas are good.

I think this place is good for tacos to make your own, good for catering, which is what we did for a business luncheon. Just normal tasting. I actually like Moe's better but the salsa at Willys is more diverse and flavorful.

Three kids 8 and under lends us to eating out before 7 pm and finding places that accommodate mommy, daddy and the kids. Los Hermanos comfortable family feeling letâs our kids feel at home but still on good behavior. The house margarita pitcher is my favorite along with the al pastor tacos. My kids ate all of their chicken and were wanting more. Hubby loves the tacos al carbon. There is enough on the menu for all of us and keeps us coming back for more.

I was meeting someone who lives in Norcross and he wanted me to get together with him at this strip mall sandwich shop. It was the noon hour, and it was crowded with Latinos. They obviously knew what they were doing. My carne asada sandwich was very good. My companion loved his as well and says he has been a regular here as long as he can remember. I understand now this is part of a small chain. At this location, the food and beverages were great and the staff was very friendly.

After the worst day driving ever, and that includes that blizzard in Boston, with the insult of a flat tire one miile from the hotel, I was done. But I was hungry. Blaxican Mexican Soulfood was just a little bit down the street so I went, accompanied by my intrepid students, or at least some of them. I ordered the 2 taco/mac or fries special. I had two blackened fish tacos and, of course, the mac and cheese with jalapeño.Every tasted fresh and well made. The spicing is perfection. Spicy enough to taste, spicy enough to flavor, subtle enough not to overwhelm. We decide to come back tomorrow for lunch to fuel ourselves for the dayâs work as tourists.

Years ago, our favorite neighborhood Mexican place went out of business, leaving us hungry for a casual spot with good basic fare. At a friend's recommendation, we tried Kiko's tonight. It was just what we've been missing! Mariella was a wonderful server, and the food was delicious. I'm a cheese chile relleno fan, and theirs did not disappoint! A mildly tangy red sauce was perfect with the tender chile. Oh, and the flan! Certainly homemade with delicious cinnamon hint. We will be returning soon.

We were out of town and decided to give this place a try because it was Cinco De Mayo. HUGE mistake!! We have a large group of 13 and the waiter told us it was his 4th day ever serving. NO ONE helped him! We ended up having to write down our own drink order and take it to the bar and then 1 hour later we still didn't even have drinks. 2 hours after we arrived we finally got our food and it was absolutely disgusting! My plate had some kind of brown liquid all over it and it looked like someone tried to wipe it off but instead just ended up smearing it all over the plate. I ordered fajitas and what a huge disappointment. No one ever asked if we wanted anything else to drink and we had to get up and get our own refills on water. They had these buckets set up on chairs behind our chairs where they were piling up dirty dishes and scraping old food off of plates. One of the women in our group has a severe citrus allergy and she and about 5 of our group ended up getting up and walking out because we could see the cross contamination happening in the kitchen from our seat and she was just too afraid to take a chance with them not being able to handle proper preparation for a food allergy. Absolutely no one in any management capacity was there to support their staff or care for us as customers. Not sure who owns this place but I highly recommend some training or you probably won't be in business very long.Thank you for the feedback. You are absolutely right, we should have never allowed a group your size to get seated with our newest team member. By the time we realized it had happened, damage was done. And of course being Cinco de Mayo all problems were magnified. We do however take our sanitation and cross contamination seriously. Unfortunately being a very small restaurant, our buss cart does sit near the back table, and of course again being cinco - we could barely keep up with the incoming dishes. On top of all this, it was a Sunday and we were extremely understaffed for the cinco rush :(We sincerely apologize for your less than acceptable experience. First time to visit this local establishment and we will be back. Service was quite good and friendly. Food was as authentic as can be found in this area......no TexMex. Atmosphere was what you want in a local restaurant......makes you feel like you know everyone.
