Red Rocks Grill

We were visiting Denver last week and sometimes found it hard to find a restaurant with something on the menu for everyone in our group. Before driving to Red Rocks, we checked menus and reviews online and decided to stop here for dinner. Here, everyone found something on the menu (fajitas, chicken fingers, tuna melt, and a burger). The restaurant was very clean, and the food and service was excellent. Red Rocks Grill was one of the best meals we had on our vacation! (One thing to note is that there is taxidermy in the restaurant, so if that bothers you, it might not be the best place for you to eat.)

Stopped in for a late lunch. We enjoyed great food and service on their gorgeous patio. The waterfall and flowers just added to the experience. I had the Cubano and Hubby had the Jallapeno BLT. Both were yummy. If you like a garden setting, don’t miss this one. It’s really special.

Morrison Inn

Our group of four adults recently stopped by the Morrison Inn for dinner. What a disappointment. The margaritas tasted watered-down. Our food order was served incorrectly so we had to wait for the correct order. The chicken burrito had approximately five bites of chicken in it. The salsa also seemed watered down. Additionally, we were being bitten by small flies of some type while sitting on the outdoor patio. There was also a trash odor coming from somewhere nearby - - perhaps from the other side of the fence where we were seated? The best part of the evening was our server, Acacia, who was super friendly and efficient. I'm sad to say that after years of going to the Morrison Inn, we won't likely return anytime soon.

"The Best Mexican Restaurant in the Conifer Area!" Top Shelf Margaritas Can't Be Beat! Mountain Folk Owned and Operated!

Reviewed By susankN479MN

What made this meal great was friends! Margarita was done right, chips and salsa were fine. Friends raves about their margaritas. Small combination plate with cheese enchilada and tostada was okay. Very bland no spice to it. Husband’s fajitas contained very grisly meat. Waiter was attentive. Surprised he asked what kind of tostada. ( I’ve only known about bean.) Restaurant busy when we left.I guess being from NM leaves me with high standards for food and this wasn’t it.To be fair, Susan, I wish we could have made a better impression when it came to your meal. We're all about authentic Mexican food, so your waiter would have been more than happy to follow up with the kitchen if you noticed anything off. That being said, I'm glad you and your friends enjoyed catching up over margaritas! Hope to welcome you back next time you're visiting from New Mexico -- I know we have what it takes to earn your five stars.Until then,Scott Phillips, Owner
