Upon first arriving at the restaurant I was intrigued. I was encouraged by the nice setting along the canal and the covered outside seating area. Friends recommended this place for drinks and tacos. The drinks were delish. The tacos were okay. The service was non-existent. As mentioned in previous reviews you need to order your food at the bar. From the one bartender who is making drinks and serving others. It feels awkward. They give you a number for your table and about 50 minutes LATER... your small tacos come out. One per plate. My order was not delivered and I had to get up and ask a busser that I saw lingering by the kitchen door. My party had to eat without me or it would have been cold. Hubbys was delivered at room temperature. The best thing about this visit was the chips and guac. Definitely awesome. If we go again it will be for margaritas and chips on a summer day. Not a place to recommend for dinner or service or if you are on any type of schedule.

We enjoyed another very good lunch here this weekend. I had the plate with the three shrimp taco, which were delicious. The chips didn't seem quite the same this week, but they weren't bad. Our server woman was exceptional! We've had her before, and she is the friendliest person in there. This was a good lunch.

Glad to come back here. Once again, hungry on a Friday night. We walked in without a reservation, were seated immediately and were treated to first rate service, as always. The Huachanango Veracruzia was tangy and fresh, salad and rice just fine. Hubby's mole met with approval. Nothing too salty or greasy. Just great "Mexican MomFood". A bit of a drive, but well worth it! The decor is not fancy, but the place is cosy, with many small rooms and not noisy even when full on a Friday night.
