Our group enjoyed a nice dinner at Roccoâs tonight. We all had the steak and frites. Overall quite good although some steak portions were bigger than others. Really nice peppercorn sauce on the steaks. The atmosphere was very cosy. It was very busy so the tables were quite close but it wasnât a big problem. Coming in from Avignon, I thought the wine prices were quite high (I would say almost double what we were paying in Avignon for the same quality of wine). But the evening was quite enjoyable at the end. Recommend.

Very interesting range of dishes for the 3 course set menu which included several we had not experienced before. Figs being in season featured in several including a great desert of profiteroles with fig ice cream. Starter of goats cheese wrapped in thin slices of aubergine was also delicious. Only one dish missed the mark which was fish stuffed with vegetables but very bland and lacking in seasoning. Service good. Not the most luxurious of interiors with tables that might be better in motorway service cafe but the food makes this still a place to try.

We found our way to this gem through the recommendation of our host at the nearby hotel (Sous les Figuiers - also not to be missed). It was our last Provence dinner of the trip, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The food was outstanding (we stuck to the specialties, and we weren't disappointed), and the service was even better. Lovely conversation, excellent recommendations, wonderful atmosphere. We ordered a variety of tapas and enjoyed each one. The goat cheese and tapanade was wonderful with the honey drizzle. The mussels were baked and yummy. The crab soup was filling.

We have been here a week and eaten in various places but I can honestly say this was the best. Fresh food, well cooked and presented and lovely, friendly, enthusiastic staff. We were made very welcome and the relaxed ( but quietly efficient) vibe stayed throughout. Must book as lots of disappointed people came to the door, got interested in the varied menu and then found it was full. Truffle pasta was my choice - very good and just the right portion size. John Dory in saffron sauce was my husbands and he was very happy. Simple and very tasty desserts. Good Rose wine. We were sitting in the courtyard and thankfully they donât allow smoking - something that mars sitting outside many restaurants in the area. Thank you for a great evening. We will be back!

Great spot after getting lost in St-Rémy-sur-Provence. I had the generous portion of Foie Gras poêlé en entrée and the Magret de Canard with patates dauphinoises. Peach Parfait for desert yum. The trifecta for only 26â¬. My daughter had the entrecôte steak which was good for 21⬠and my wife had the Surf and Surf (Salmon and Prawns) which was just average. My son had the Cheeseburger was was also average. The many draft beers were cold and cheap at 3.50⬠the half pint and 7⬠the pint. The Luberon Reds at 20⬠were also great value. well, they recommended this place at the reception of camping Pegomas, and we didn't make a reservation, but got seated outside nevertheless. Since we never know what portion sizes restaurants serve, we took the starter and the main dish, and some rosé and water to go with it. The staff is extremely kind, the food is very good, and prices are normal (for France). It was so good, that we decided to go for the tarte aux abricots. Believe me, my wife loves sweets, and found this the best (and most original) one she ever tasted, and I agree. Oh yes, the wine is from the chateau that has a shop across the road

Still very warm in late September so eating outdoors was a treat. My quiche was tasty and light. OH had lasagne, all home made with very fresh salad. Service friendly, generally good but apologetic when we needed to chase up our order when diners who'd arrived later were served before us.
