Reviews were good but when we ordered our dishes we were pleasantly surprised the tastes are excellent and blend well together. Tables are well spaced and although it was a full house the atmosphere was one of happy conversations. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had a half sushi to share as starter which was excellent. Both the tuna steak and the pasta with prawns and tenderloin were excellently prepared and served in a very good arrangement.

It's a charming looking place and the staff are very lovely but the food unfortunately does not match. We had the Chilaquiles, Tacos and Mole. Colourful, lovely looking plates but sadly, tasting a bit bland. This place deserves more.

What an experience! We were a group of 25 people and I have to say everything was just perfect at Cuba 58. From the responsiveness of the owner via email to arrange the booking and the flexibility of doing a set menu, to the service, the quality of the food and the price!!! We had an amazing evening and it turned out to be so cheap (with loads of delicious food). I personally loved the Arroz a la Marinera. Definitely highly recommended if you are in Las Palmas. Thank you for your visit, it was an incredibly pleasure to receive you. We hope you enjoyed your visit to our island, specially to our restaurant #Cuba58. Thanks for your great recommendation in TripAdvisor.

Four of us had Sunday lunch yesterday & the meat was really delicious as were the grilled veggies. Service was slow but that was mostly our fault was we arrived late as half the party got lost! We shall certainly return. Acoustics rather loud but with it was worth it for the quality. I visited this restaurant twice with my girlfriend over my week stay in Las Palmas. Had a long think about this over the last week and have to say the steak (vacio) is the best main course I have ever eaten. Sliced up steak cooked as you wish with homemade chips and a delicious roast pepper. The chimichuri sauce is also fantastic. For starters, the pastries are worth trying and a nice appetizer before the mains. The wine (my girlfriend tells me) was very nice, and I can vouch for the bottled Argentinian beer that they serve. I recommend the special Almacen dessert, it is excellent.A special mention to the owner who is a lovely and helpful man as well as being an attentive waiter who helped us choose our order the first time and happily welcomed us back on our return. I can't recommend this place enough and as a bonus it offers a real personal service and a very reasonable price.
