In my opinion the best japanese restaurant in Toulouse, simple cook, just like in Japan and just... BRILLIANT ! I recommend really this authentic japanese rÄmen, everything is excellent ! Warm welcome ! It's our Wednesday restaurant after school with friends and it is always a real pleasure to come in Shin-ya RÄmen !

We ended up at "Papillons" while waiting in the Purpan area. For 39 Euro we got 2 all you can eat formulas and one beer. The food was tasty and the choice large. I went three times to fill my plate (4 including fruit and dessert) before getting stuffed and I still was unable to taste all the food. Unlimited soda is included in the formula and this is a nice plus for France. Sure not a fancy restaurant but a nice place for a different meal.

On a sunny day there are worse places to be sitting... Outside eating very good value, well prepared sushi. Both my friend and I had the set menu... Soup, salad and a mixture of sushi, sashimi and maki. All served with rice. Easy access and parking outside, a good place to stop off !

You cant beat this new Asian fusion trendy restaurant for quality and service. Its THE restaurant event in Toulouse and the best find for years.Run by an Excellent Korean chef, quality and freshness of ingredients are the key here. For the hot Korean dishes best quality Aberdeen Angus Beef and for the sushi Scottish salmon. Connoisseur or not, you'll find this way ahead of the pseudo Japanese restaurants mostly run by Chinese.This is the real thing. Believe me. I lived for 8 years in Japan.Try the mochi (Rice cake) covered ice cream or the yuzu sorbet. The chef has had a sommelier select well priced French wines to go with spécific dishes. You would normally drink beer with Japanesefood but these recommandations work well Combine this with the trendy décor and Buok becomes a top Toulouse venue for lunch or dinner. Book ahead - the word is out.

I guess I was not expecting much of this place, but was pleasantly surprised. I eat a lot of sushi back in North America and I've had bad sushi before; this one was quite good: all three of us had the spicy salmon tataki, spicy tuna tataki and regular salmon sashimi, and it was fresh and delicious. I had the crispy california roll, it was different, but I like my north american one (with a bit of that Japanese mayo) better. The sushi was good, so was the miso soup. The only disappointment was that the hot sake was not hot enough. Prices were decent for the food. Oh, and the service was very nice, both waitresses were very helpful, courteous and sweet!

Every dish is made on request, ingredients are impressively fresh, always.If you take outside the menu you can expect to wait a little bit. But for lunch the menus are more than correct.I've been there at noon with friends several times and ordered to go.
