Those looking for American chicago type pizza, not the right place. On the contrary if you're looking for a nice, tasty and not too far from a traditional pizza then I'm sure you will enjoy the place.I have a friend who leaves close so each time I visit him we step in for a pizza and I've never been disapointed. When the weather allows, they have an outside seating which is ok as thestreet is not too busy. The restaurant room has been extended and revamped last year so it's clean and nice.Good choice of pizzas, limited choice for drinks but you have the minimum Italian selection for Beer and wine. The only reason I don't give 5 stars: It's not a wood oven and the best traditionnal pizza can only be done in a wood oven.

The good: very good pizza base in the traditional napoli style (elastic inside and crunchy outside). The bad: awful quality mozzarella and average tomatosauce.I don't understand: this has the potential of being a really good pizza but the owner decides to save on the basic ingredients like the tomato sauce and the mozzarella. For the price he sells his pizzas he should use better ingredients. I guess the french customers like his pizzas because even his terrible mozzarella is better than the cheap gruyere most french pizzerias use.

Mattarello is a traditional Napolitan pizzeria, the dough gets 2 days of rest for a better digestion and the toppings are all fresh and imported from Italy. The staff is very friendly and they have outdoor sittings.
This cute little pizzeria is tucked away in Cornebarrieu, just up from the main street. We had Saturday lunch here - the ladies are welcoming and the pizzas are imaginative and so tasty. Super quality base and lovely fresh ingredients. Top that off with a generously proportioned Spritz and a strawberry tiramisu to die for! Good value and great service. Thank you!

A family dinner during our visit to Toulouse. First impressions on Tuesday night were good. Quite busy with seemingly locals.Wide menu choice from piazza's to steak. The portions served were more than generous and of a reasonable quality. I was disappointed with my Rib Eye which was too thin a slice and served overcooked. We did decide to order a dessert, but as the restaurant emptied of diners, the service also disappeared. The lack of attention and then the effort to pay the bill spoiled the evening. Still far better than the horrors of Vi Long

Restaurant de spécialités Italiennes avec un CHEF ITALIEN venant des pouilles, sud de l'Italie. Objectif: FAIRE DECOUVRIR DE LA VRAI CUISINE ITALIENNE
We went here around 8pm, me and my boyfriend, to eat some desert and drinksome wine. When we arrived we went on the terrace to sit at a table but the waiter came and redirect us on the other terrace saying that all of the tables are reserved (not true, nobody came and more than half were empty even at 9.30 pm when we left). We set at the table that we were given, looked at the menu, waited....waited....waited....., after 30 min someone decided to come and take our order. We said that we would want 2 glasses of wine, 2 deserts, and a bottle of mineral water. As soon as we said desert he stopped listening, rolled his eyes, put on a bitchy face and said âahhhh you only want desert? Then, well, i have to take your tablecloth, its just for the people that eatâ. He literally took off the tablecloth, made everyone around look at us, practically embarrassed us in front of everybody that was eating there and made us feel humiliated.....Ofcorse, he directly made his opinion that we are just 2 poor persons that want to occupy his table and pay as less as possible. And ofcorse because he didnât even pay attention to our order he assumed we want the free water that they give and brought tap water....Never gonna go here again, never ever felt so humiliated in a restaurant.Dear Bianca, I m very very sorry about your feed back of Don Peppino. That s not a good way to treat our customers and I m totally agree with you. I have a discussion with the manager and waiters about this. I would be happy to offer you a second chance, please contact me directly if you want To come back and taste the Italian food we cook.

Bleh! Bland chewy meats. Nothing seasoned well. No interesting menu items. I never returned beyond a visit on 28Feb13.My travel companions, on the other hand, found it quite suitable and patronized the place numerous times.

Second time I have been here, and the pizza and calzones are just incredible. Excellent service, menu, and beer and wine selection. Not a romantic place, but a nice quiet little place to eat, drink, and unwind from another day at the office.

We have tried a lot of pizzerias in and around Toulouse. Mongelli is by far the best I know. The restaurant itself is very small and often crowded with people waiting for their take away pizza. As I live near the place, I have never dined in the restaurant, but only used the take away option. The crust is exactly as it should be, so whatever you put on top, it makes a delicious pizza. I've never been disappointed by any of their pizzas, but my favorite is the Tolosana.
