I normally go to Rotolo's on Wednesday's to take advantage of their $5.99 Calzones specials that are absolutely to die for, but they were kind enough to send me a coupon for a free pizza for my birthday. (Not saying what year this birthday is!). So we dropped in and selected their Bacon Cheeseburger pizza and was blown away at how good that pizza was! It was one of the best pizzas I've ever had and I've had some good ones!!!I definitely will add that to my calzone visits.

After having some friends drop by, we decided to grab a bite for dinner. Everyone wanted a casual restaurant and Commodore's was mentioned. We have not been there in a while so we thought we would try it. We were glad we did. After a brief rate we were seated. There is a very good selection on the menu. One member of our party was going to order a medium two topping. The waitress suggested a large two topping special they had which was cheaper. We appreciate a server looking out for us. We had the Godfather and the large two topping pizza. It was one of the best pizza's I've had in a long time. The pizza came out steaming hot from the oven and there was an abundance of toppings but not overwhelming. The crust was perfect. The owner came over several time to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a great night and we found a great new pizza place.

Restaurant is small but service was great. To my surprise, we were served very fast. There were 6 of us. All had something different; pizza, salad, pasta Alfredo, spaghetti and muffuletta. No complaints so must have been good. Great lunch for $10 and had enough left over to bring home for supper. First time there and I will go back.

There is nothing wrong with average. We had the feeling it was our server's first week on the job and maybe the kitchen was not at its finest based on other reviews - but we did not regret coming. This is the kind of place you visit if you are walking down the street in downtown Hammond - but I would not make a special trip. The price was a little more than one would expect for this kind of service and food.

Since Olive Garden is a popular nationwide chain featuring Italian food, perhaps you have previously had opportunities to dine at one of their locations. But did you know they also do catering? We tried the Hammond location for a church luncheon. Ordered 2 jumbo salads and 2 pans of Chicken Giardino. The portions were very large. We really had more food than we needed. The order came with their famous breadsticks, salad dressing on the side, utensils, plates, etc. Everything needed for a group meal. We ordered online and everything was ready to go at the appointed time for pickup. Very friendly and efficient service. We will definitely use them again.

New place in Ponchatoula. Locally owned. Great food! The staff are friendly and professional. My son has a sensory disorder and is very particular about food. The staff were totally accommodatung to his needs and thus he now has a new food he will eat. This made our first visit there all the better and made me as a parent feel good about visiting this restaurant again. The calzones are "Buddy" approved.

Small, intimate Italian restaurant with North Italian food served A la cart. Wife and I with another couple stopped for lunch. She and the spinach lasagna and I had the Baked Eggplant parmigiana and ricotta salata, both came with a very small lettuce salad. Other couple had the daily special pan fried catfish and fried potatoes. The food was good but portions are small. You will need to order an antipasti or desert. Ambiance is good and waiter was attentive.
