Over the years, many friends and locals have recommended Gary's Pizza to me. I'm moving soon, and figured it was now or never that I try it. So, I ordered a extra cheese pizza for takeout (The service was fine and the workers were kind). As far as I know, I've had every other pizza in town (with the exception of that new Pieology place), and I can safely say that if Mankato didn't have a Pizza Hut, I'd call Gary's the worst pizza in town. Here's a run-down:1. The crust was bland and crunchy like a cracker.2. The sauce was minimal and not very flavorful3. The cheese was rubbery, and somehow not greasy.Although the pizza was made fresh, it tasted like leftovers. It truly is bizarre to me that so many people love this place. If you're new to the area and want a cheap pizza, I recommend Marco's or one of the nation-wide chains. If you want a truly delicious pizza, I strongly recommend Dino's or Topper's.

I just wanted to give a shout out to the host/hostesses and servers at Olive Garden, particularly Davide K who was our server this evening. We came in with a somewhat chaotic group (including a toddler and two older kids), and my special requests for dietary needs. And he remembered everything, was very attentive, and just made things go so smoothly. The Salmon was very good, and everyone else enjoyed their meals as well.

Jake's Pizza has been a southern Minnesota favorite for over 42 years. Our ingredients are made from scratch using family recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation. We use fresh Wisconsin low fat mozzarella cheese made specifically

Ordered pizza for dinner before the football game. We were in town Tuesday evening for high school football, you order and pay first then they call out your order number when your pizza is done. Wasn't too busy when we got there. Took about 15 minutes to get the pizza, we asked specially for square cut. The pizza was really good. Self service for all. You get your own beverage, paper plates, silverware etc. Thanks for the review.

Passing through Mankato on our way to Minneapolis. Heard great things about this place so had to stop. Located in a nice area downtown. Parking is a little difficult. Once we got there we were seated right away. The service was good. Started out with the cheesy garlic bread which is very good. Then we got our pizzas. I like how the pieces are cut into squares. The sauce was good the right amount of toppings. I thought the crust was a little cardboardie. The taco pizza was marginal. Buffalo chicken pizza was okay. Our other Pizza with multiple toppings was very good. Glad we had a chance to give this place a try.
