The staff are friendly and helpful. The take out order is quick. Recommend The vegetarian, Hawaiian and Margarita. Also recommend the Tirmasu. Good size serving. Easy walking distance from the Alfred hospital. You can eat in or take away. You can also find the menu on line.

Established in 1981, Geppetto Trattoria is a family run restaurant that has been providing locals, regulars and new customers with passionate home-style Italian food ranging from fresh pasta, offal, seafood and slow cooked dishes such as Osso buco, Goat,
We had a fabulous evening at this wonderfully authentic Italian restaurant. Our waiter, Enrico, was attentive and the service was first rate. We had the focaccia with olive tapenade to start and I had the gnocchi with wagyu beef for main - both courses were wonderful and beautifully presented. All in all I highly recommend this restaurant and just wish they’d move it to Sydney!!!

Freshness, brightness, vigour – this is what has been injected into Burke Road’s well known Italy 1 Camberwell - with a little bit of the old. Now owned by two very energetic and enthusiastic owners, one being the previous head chef, Italy 1 Camberwell ha
Each visit reminds us of how reliable this restaurant is. The menu is limited but each item is well prepared and really satisfying, service is exceptionally good and we always leave saying we should visit more often. It was quiet being the evening after a chaotic fatter’s day and we appreciated the extra attention this gave us!

This restaurant has doubled in size since we were last here. The Italian staff were helpful with the food and wine selection. They have an express lunch menu where there's a two course meal for $30.00. There was a reasonable selection to please most people.I had the soup and pasta bolognese. Both were tasty and a reasonable portion. We shared a tira misu which I found to be tasteless.I would return again.

Cafe e Cucina hosted a group of 45 staff members from Football Victoria for a late celebratory lunch this week. Not only was our meal absolutely beautiful, the service we received was so personalised, warm and friendly, we’ve been talking about the experience in the office ever since. I cannot thank Mauro, Massimo, Arthur and the entire team enough for creating a very special afternoon for us.

A venue where the food is about the authentic Italian flavours using seasonal produce, featuring impressive Italian and Aussie wine list and impeccable service. It was an experience that was memorable and gastronomically satisfying. It was not difficult to see why this establishment has won many awards.

Attending the Grand on high recommendation of friends I was excited to try this restaurant for the first time We ordered the degustation menu, 6 courses and optional matching wines which we passed on.Radicchio with balsamic vinegar , pear and a delicious creamy cheese purée was incredible with bold intense flavours Duck liver parfait on home made brioche Gnocchi with burnt butter and sage Spanish mackerel Mushroom risotto (signature dish of the restaurant)Porterhouse steak Italian donut with coffee ice creamThe serving sizes were just right given the number of courses you are very well fed The food is faultless and cooked superbly, the flavours are bold and intense and beautiful.A note for all business owners however We had one young lady with an eastern euro accent who was lovely, attentive and engaging The second waiter mid 40s possibly French was a disaster and would deter me from returning or recommending this restaurant He practically dropped the plates on the table when he served and described the meal he was providing as ‘the steak’ or ‘ice cream’He was walking away from the table before the plate had stopped vibrating - it was as though he was angry at our presence I watched him serve numerous tables with the same attitude I would never tolerate behaviour like this in my business ...

Our 'local' turned out to e a highlight of our Melbourne stay. From the minute we stepped inside this tiny [27 sq m!] restaurant we felt at home. Our waitress, Carolina, was a gem - ensuring always that we had enough water and wine, and were enjoying our food, without ever being intrusive. Everything is made on the premises and served up with Italian music in the background. Just fabulous and can't be recommended highly enough.
