I try to eat at Monicals on every visit to Illinois. It's a great family restaurant, so a good place to get caught up with friends/family while enjoying a good meal.The pizza is really good, and the Family Pleaser a great option for 3-4 people. Breadsticks are good. They have gluten free options, as well. If you prefer a crispy crust on the gluten free pizza, ask them to cook it a little extra. This is the first time I visited the Decatur location, but the staff was friendly and food good, just like all locations!

We went with our cousin from out of state hoping for a quiet place to have good food and visit. We were seated immediately but waited awhile for a server to acknowledge us. Both hubby and I ordered Tours and cousin had tilapia. My lasagna was very good and had great flavor. Hubby had shrimp scampi that still had tails attached and asparagus underneath which was just strange. Both of us had cheese stuffed ravioli and spaghetti for the second and third dishes of the tour. The ravioli was very good, but the spaghetti was runny, the sauce pretty much flavorless and almost non-existent. Cousin said her tilapia was fishy tasting which it normally isn't and didn't have much flavor. Overall we were very disappointed in what used to be a very nice place to have Italian food. Very average and noisy to boot.

You can get a tub of spaghetti, loaf of garlic bread, torpedo sub and loaf of cinnamon bread for less than $23 (take-out only) for a mid-week special. The bread is a sweet bread and is delicious. They also offer some other pastas and sandwiches. The "Uncle Tony" is a hot sandwich and is my favorite.

This was our first experience at Tuscany. We came here after having played music at a benefit. I wasn't very hungry, so I wanted a little something sweet and something savory. I ordered a S'mores dessert pizza and crab stuff mushrooms (appetizer). Both were DELICIOUS! I ordered the house Merlot, which was a very delicious and generous serving. Our server, Nate, was AWESOME! He was very detail oriented as to our order, well, as to everything. EXTREMELY POLITE.Nate made our experience VERY enjoyable! As a first experience, I now want to go back.

We have eaten here several times, always happy with either pizza or calzones. Not the fanciest of settings, but have always found it to be clean with very friendly staff. Service has always been speedy. Appears they do a large take-out business as well. Prices are very reasonable, I think.
