Apparently THIS is the place to eat hamburgers in Decatur, IL. I had read other reviews online and headed there. I wasn't sure if they took cash only, but this place accepts debit cards.I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and a drink. I also got frozen lemon custard. The burger was good, it was worth my time and I would recommend it. The fries were fresh, hot and delicious. The lemon custard had a nice tang to it and I really enjoyed it! I would go back just for the custard, honestly. Overall a cute, quaint hamburger stop. I don't know if this is a place that I would write home to mom about or stop for JUST to get them, but still good.

Tastey's has good gyros, reminding me of the ones we used to get in Chicago. The portions are generous and the meat is perfectly seasoned. They usually have specials on gyros after 4:00 so that's when we normally visit.

Decatur native here. Krekels is a burger joint. This location recently built a new building with a bigger dinning room. I have yet to eat in because with toddlers, we frequent the drive through. My standard order is "cheeseburger with everything including lettuce and tomato (it's extra for those fancy toppings), bag of fries and a vanilla shake". Seriously, this is like a Decatur staple so it's a must have while in town.

This is a good place to stop if you want a quick burger. As a general rule, they are pretty quick to get your meal out to you. You should be sure to try the side-by-side shakes for a cool treat.

I dined here on Wednesday evening 9/6/17. Tabatha was my Sever. She greeted me with a smile, as soon as I walked in the door. She kept the root beers coming and was Very Quick with the service. The food was just as I ordered it and Yummy. The restaurant and restrooms were clean.

We've been here several times and the food is fantastic every time. Beef bulgogi is delicious. Served with fresh fruit, salad, rice. The bibimbap is tasty and fresh. The kimchi fried rice is spicy and rich. The dumplings are all good. The sushi is good. The japchae is flavorful and generous. This is truly a hidden gem. The owners have been friendly and great about answering questions. Counter service. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, delicious food. Baked items are delicious too. Best macarons I've ever had.
