Practically at the midpoint of Iberian Peninsula's western coast, it is located at the mouth of the Mondego River, 40 km west of Coimbra, and sheltered by hills (Serra da Boa Viagem). The population in 2011 was 62,125, in an area of 379.05 km². The city of Figueira da Foz proper has a population of 46,600. It is the second largest city in the district of Coimbra.

Excellent restaurant in a very calm city. Perfect place for a dinner with friends or family! The staff was a delight and always very attentive. The food, wow, the food was just incredible! I definitely recommend it.

Great place to Go for dinner. We had the Il Camino pizza, garlic bread, tiramisu and a bottle of wine and it was only 20 euros. The tiramisu was the best I've had in a long time! I recommend this place to anyone

Dans l ensemble, lâaccueil et le service sont correct, pour le reste cela se complique un peu, les pâtes sont moyennes et ne sont pas des pâtes fraîches mais des pâtes sèches la pizza est faite avec du fromage à bas prix mais vendu à un tarif largement supérieur au prix pratiqué au Portugal. En bref ce restaurant ne vaut pas le déplacement.

Called in here for lunch. The menu is mainly Italian-style dishes and pizzas. Lots of choice, including vegetarian dishes. Staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. We also heard them speaking Spanish and French as well as Portugese! Perhaps slightly dearer than other restaurants but no worse than other popular seaside resorts. We also tried a traditional Figuera dessert (tart) that was delicious!

We absolutely loved Luzzo Pizzaria in Figueira da Foz. The place is super cozy and the pizza is delicious! Great crust, delicious sauce, and super fresh ingredients. It's hands down one of the best pizzas we ever had and we eat a lot of pizza.

I dined with 5 family members and an 11 month old baby. The staff was very attentive and friendly and accommodated the needs of the child. We dined on a wednesday from 7-9pm and there was only one other table being occupied but people arrived for take-outs. I had a large and very tasty pizza packed with ingredients. My family had the francesinha, bacalhau and beef meals all of a good size and quality. With garlic bread, olives, two bottles of wine, coffee and desserts the bill was very reasonable at 80 euros.

However the staff were a bit surly and we were the only people in the restaurant. I had a very tasty lasagne and some very good red wine. it is actually owned by The Wellington Hotel opposite and you get 10% off if you show your hotel key.

Alex, Amer, and all the staff at Gustoâs were delightful... made us a great salad not on the menu..fresh greens, tomatoes, cheese.. proud Italians running a small pizzeria in Portugal... they seemed to be having as much fun as we did.. need a great pizza be sure to check it out!!
